I bought this unit to replace a 7 year old Maytag (One model down) that had a broken handle lock. I wish I had just paid to have the handle fixed. This machine does not have the same rack features as my other one, very difficult to load, plus the inside is loaded with water after the drying cycle, especially the silverware holder. I ran this unit the first time with the high temp wash and sanitizing cycles and it ran for almost 4 hours! Not very energy efficient. This unit is also not very quiet, and the light wash cycle does not allow the high temp wash. I am selling my house this year, and thought it would be a good selling point to have a new dishweasher. Otherwise, I would have returned this dishwasher. I'm sorry I listened to the recommendation of the ABT salesman, I should have bought the same model as my old one for a lot less money at ABT.

Unusual locking system for door....locks when dishwasher starts. Wish it had a light indicator when dishes are clean. Looks good and so far has performed well.

This dishwasher works well, it's very quiet and cleans well. Only dislike about the unit is that the dishes do not dry well. Did everything the Tech. said to do and still, wet dishes.

Racks pull out smoothly, very easy to load, like the slats in the silverware basket so spoons and forks stay separated, dries very well, runs quietly.

Dislike - Cycles are very long.

Delivery was great, came when they said they would, dishwasher arrived in good condition. Also had another appliance delivered at the same time and the two delivery men/installers had both old appliances out and the new ones in, hooked up, tested, cleaned up and gone in an hour. They were the best.

The dishwasher looks and works fine. But when you buy it for x amount of hundereds of dollars, they then hit you for a $10 piece that by the way you need but doesn't come with the dishwasher. I thought that was very lame, and i wish i would have argued to get it for free durring the purchase. But thats what you get for shopping hung over.

After about a month, I love the sparkly clean appearance of dishes. At first, the surges of on and off are a bit offsetting, but the result is excellent.

The price was right for what we wanted to spend.The unit runs very quietly and dishes stack well. What I don't like is that the unit doesn't dry well. Even if i let the dishes sit overnight I still end up having to dry utensils and glasses. Also the unit runs for well over an hour. That's too long, especially considering dishes aren't drying well. I would be ok with the run time length if dishes came out dry.

Delivery was a nightmare which is unusual for Abt. The first guys who arrived to install the unit said it wouldn't fit, space between floor and countertop was too small. We ordered a different unit only to have that delivery guy say the first unit would have fit. We cancelled the 2nd dishwasher and re-ordered this unit. The guy who came out on 2nd visit installed this unit on the 3rd visit. This experience was very frustrating as I ended up waiting about 3 weeks to get this unit installed. This meant taking time off work and washing all dishes by hand for Thanksgiving and another dinner party I was having. I did call Abt and complained about this and they said they'd make sure this wouldn't happen again.

This dishwasher is smaller than my previous dishwashers, but I actual like that. I the top rack isn't adjustable, the lower rack doesn't have any options. My last dishwasher had a rack that flipped down, that was easier for plates.

Decent dishwasher at a reasonable price. We've spent more on some "high-end" names in the past that weren't worth the money. One nice feature with this dishwaher is the tiered top rack that gives loading flexibility on top and bottom. Able to load much taller items in the bottom, which was a problem with the old unit. Also like the high temp wash and steam sanitize features. Dishes have been completely dry and spotless at the end of cycle. We've only been using this dishwasher for about a month. So far, no complaints.

In my previous home I owned a Fisher Paykel double dishwasher. It was a really nice dishwasher, but had less room to load and didn't always wash/dry that well. This white Maytag dishwasher is very easy to load, quiet, and cleans and dries very well. It's also 1/3 of the cost of the Fisher Paykel I used to own. I'm really impressed with this dishwasher.
