I am extremely disappointed with this oven. The Aqualift cleaning technology is a joke! Unfortunately you can't use oven cleaners or I would. The cook top looks great, but is also very difficult to clean! I wipe up after each use, but if anything gets on the cook top it takes a lot of scrubbing to get it off. I even use the recommended Affresh product. This is my 2nd oven, as the first oven's convection fan did not go on at all. With the new oven the fan works, but their is no noticeable difference in cooking times between standard oven and convection oven. In fact, everything in this oven takes longer to bake or roast than the cooking times given in recipes. If you set the timer, at the end of the timer time the entire oven shuts off so if your item is not done, you have to turn the whole oven temperature back on. When setting the time there is no separate button for hours and minutes. You have to go through all the minutes for each hour until you get to the time of day you need (This applies to when it first needs to be set, daylight savings time changes or power outages) Additionally, it doesn't move rapidly if you hold the button in. You have to push it individually for each change of minutes. Whomever designed this product and tested it, must not be a COOK.This is the worst appliance I have ever owned and the most expensive. Do not be fooled by the great looks! The stains appear on the surface of both the oven and the stove top even when nothing bakes or boils over. It's strange! I have used non-scratch scrubbers, Affresh and non abrasive Soft Scrub to no avail. Now I just have a dirty looking appliance!

My wife wanted large burners for canning and a large convection oven. This model was perfect. We are on propane so I had to convert it from natural gas. I won't say it was easy, but the parts are clearly marked and the instructions were detailed and clear.I really really loved the American sticker on the product, something I always look for.Rick
good stove top bad oven!
from Dunham, Quebec
I purchased this stove on June 16 and did not install it for a few weeks as I moved on July 7th. Since then my oven has not worked and service has been terrible. It is now August 23, the serviceman was here 2 weeks ago and has not yet returned with the required part. I am very unhappy and dsiappointed

This is the first time we have owned a gas range, Just turn on the stove and in no time at all its done ready to eat. The oven cooks nice and evenly in a timely manner.

The grates on top "warp" meaning due to the flame heat the grates change shape!! Whirlpool argued that it was not a "function" so they did not want to replace. I finally convinced the CS rep that when the grates warp, the cooking surface is no longer flat/even. They sent new grates, but the local appliance repair service told me that it is a problem with all the grates! The oven does not cook properly. It quits cooking either by lowering temperature or just shuts off! At first I thought it was operator error, but after having had this oven since Oct of 2015, I find that it is the oven and not me! The cleaning system - what a joke that is!! I have tried to clean it the recommended way with the "Aqualift" system and it does not work like the conventional oven cleaning method that basically burns off the grime. I hate this oven. The only redeeming thing about the range is that it is gas. I would not recommend this range to anyone!
Nice looking stove

We upgraded to this stove in a new house and I am glad we did. Very well designed and is an excellent performer. Much easier to clean than any other stove we have owned. Grates cover the entire top surface making it easy to re position a pot/pan and leave it on the stove top. My only issue is the clock/timer is over complicated.

Whirlpool® 5.8 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Range
from Gainesville, Fl
Got this range on Christmas Eve, 2014 when we realized our old oven was dead and had company coming the next day. It's great, love the heavy duty grills and flexible burners. The oven controls are probably more complicated than they need to be, and I haven't figured out if there is a way to make the oven NOT turn off when the timer goes off, but other than that I'm very happy with it.

We have had this for about a month now, and I love the five burners, heavy duty grates, and the large oven door glass is so nice.

Buyer beware! I have bought 12 separate appliances over the last three years and they have all been Whirlpool. That goes to show I trust Whirlpool. Unfortunately this stove I bought for my home doesn't live up to the name. After maybe 5 uses over a year, the over stopped lighting and maintaining its temperature regularly. Now with more use it barley starts and the temperature when it does is 60 degrees off. The repairman says the part to fix it is $500 and he can't even get it because it is out of stock in every major supplier. He said this is a huge red flag that there is an issue with this model. If you do decide to buy, keep your fingers crossed that I got a lemon!

We are enjoying our new stove. Grilling is the best
By paulhines family

We grill salmon on the stove and it was moist and flavorful but most of all easy. While the salmon grilled I used the other aisles for roasted baby potatoes and whole green beans. I was able to stay in the kitchen and not worry about the fire getting to high on the grill.
