The wife and I looked for along time untill we decided on this oven. We had a high dollar oven befor and did'nt use all of the features, so we decided on specifice features that we needed and this oven fit the bill. We had to have convection cooking, the rest of the features were a bonus. the touch pad is responsive when you touch a button, and the display is bright and clear. we like the blue color of the display. The bottons are marked well and easy to figure out. The oven interior is much bigger than our last 24" oven. With the two lights inside of the oven it is very easy to see whats going on inside when the door is closed. The oven racks slide very easy and there are many choices for different levels. However we did buy the rack that rolls on ball bearings, its a must have for very heavey and large items. The rack rolls smooth and all the way out to the oven edge for more access. Interior cleanup was easy due to the hidden lower cooking elements, great idea. Also the broiler elements are recest into the roof of the oven so you have extra clearance when broiling. We liked the oven door gasket being attacted to the door instead of the oven cabinet, so spills are less likly to get on the gasket and makes cleanup more easy. The big window in the door makes looking at your food very easy, so you don't have to open the door to see whats going on in there. The oven door stays relatively cool, so its safe from you getting burned.The only thing my wife mentioned was the fan that runs during cooking is a little loud, it realy didnt bother me, and after awhile she said she has gotten used to the sound. As fare as the price was concerned, it was right in line with the other ovens we looked at. You won't be disapointed with your purchas.

Oven did not work after first steam cleaning that I did the same week I received it. The steam cleaning did not work so I did a regular cleaning The door locked and work order had to be completed that left us with out an oven for one month because the part was on back order! The oven has worked well since the initial incovenience, however I am disappointed about what initially occurred. The oven is loud is while in use and it sounds as if it is running for a long time after it is turned off.

This oven does whats advertised, and the large window is nice. Only buy it AFTER you have heard it running at an appliance store where it is fully connected. There is a large fan that cools the electronic's, that comes on once the oven reaches around 180' and stays on for 5-25 minutes after you shut off the oven. This fans runs for any cycle of bake/broil/etc. The confection fan is silent. This cooling fan is so loud it drowns out the dishwasher that is closer to our kitchen table, and the hum and air flow noise are at an extremely annoying pitch. Even teenage boys will notice it is loud and annoying. Online research confirms that my oven is typical for the "Gold" series model. Cooks good pizzas though.

When we moved into our house in 2005 the oven was obviously the original from the 60's. I complained about it for seven years before I finally decided to just get a new one. I'm so glad I did and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. This Whirlpool oven has a door I can see through, a timer that works, a door that closes all the way - all the features I've been missing all this time. I haven't tried cleaning it yet but I'm sure that feature will work wonderfully too. I am thrilled with this product and would recommend it to anyone who's in the market for a new oven.

stainless steel design with large window clean and sharp looking. The oven is very quite. The large turkey we cooked for Easter came out golden brown and very juicy. Very pleased with Whirlpool. John

Very satisfied with this oven. Simple to use, enough features to be very adaptable. First convection oven and was surprised at first by the noise of the fan running (not a problem) and was thrilled to find out that the warm air vents out the bottom - nice on a cold winter day! Nice, clean design. Also like the three racks and the accurate temp. read out. Not overloaded with features and more than adequate for a busy kitchen.
