More Than Just Hot Air

For proper maintenance there is an indicator light that alerts you when the metal grease filters need to be cleaned or when the charcoal filter has to be replaced.
To operate, easy to use, push button controls allow you to set the hood on a timer, switching the unit off, automatically, 5 or 15 minutes after you walk away. Also, you have the ability to adjust the feature lighting to suit your environment.

A reducing collar for your ventilation hood may reduce the environmental impact of your ventilation system by limiting the maximum CFM output to less than 400 CFM. The new Miele ‘reducing collar’ (item # 08560801) allows converting wall and island hoods without the need for a make-up air system. Local building codes might require the use of the reducing collar, please check with your local regulations.
