I took my time with installation as I was replacing a 16 year old Whirlpool Microwave. I had to take time as the templates are designed to mount to the bottom of the overhead cabinet. I couldn't get it to stay in place. I ended up measuring every hole location at least 5 times. The instrutctions say it is a 2 person job. I managed by myself using a milk crate to rest it on and pieces of wood to shim it up. My greatest difficulty was attaching the overhead vent ductwork. The overhead vent was 1.5 inches forward of the old microwave's. If I were to do it all over again, I would take down the overhead cabinet and spacers, cut new and enlarge holes and try to relocate the ductwork for the outside vent.

The turntable makes considerable noise, but the annoying thing is that the display is a bright blue while every other appliance in my kitchen is green. There is no mention of the display color anywhere.

The oven all of a sudden when blank. I pressed the clock button to fix the time and it would not go back on. We had the Whirlpool people come out to fix it and then did. The day after he leaves, I come into the house and slammed our back door shut and the microwave turned on. Yes, you read correctly this microwave had a mind of its own. The internal parts where so sensitive they turned off or turned on without touching it...very dangerous! The technician said, get rid of it. We sent it back to ABT. Thanks ABT! We bought a Maytag even though it's made by the same manufacturer but the Maytag is better.

Very please with this product for the price range. My husband stated it was easy to install - replace a prior one. I love that the inside is a lot larger then the one I had before. Good purchase. Fan noise same as the one I had before, do not know why they can not create a quiet fan for these types of microwaves.

Installation was simple. I have 2 minor issues. The door closes very loudly. It feels as tho it may be an issue in the future. There are so many options for the features that it takes time to figure out what it is you want to do for anything other than Time Cook. It is very powerful as far as heating.

I love this microwave. I did purchase another brand and returned it, resulting in purchasing the Whirlpool. It is very sturdy. The handle was one of the main reasons why I chose this microwave. The functions listed on the inside make it very simple to reheat, cook or thaw just about anything.
