LG 1.6 Cu. Ft. Non-Sensor White Micro Hood - LMV1683SW

This is my first over the range microwave and I wish I would have bought one sooner. It was easy to install and works great. It is quieter than the countertop one it replaced. Fan is very powerfull. the only downfall is that the light could be brighter and the instructions for the fan filter installation could be better. the rest of the instructions were fine.

This microwave oven LG1683SW looks great, and has the great feature of add 30 sec, melt, and many others. found this microwave to be a great deal for the price.

Great unit at a value price. Solid performance and easy install. Only thing it lacks is a timer. Would buy it again.

This micorwave is the best value out there. Very affordable and was really easy to install. I am an office guy and I installed it. I was very impressed on how quickly things heat up. I would recommend this microwave to everyone

Above my expectations and the price was great for the quality and size. My only comment is that this model does not heat as hot as my ancient microwave that finally died a slow death. So far excellent results.

Purchased the unit for rental property.
Current tenants have had no issues.
They use it primarily to warm up drinks and leftovers.
Works fine and was easy to install.

This is the first over the range microwave I have had and it was easy to install. The features are oodt, but some are not as easy to use as my old microwave and I had to read the manual to figure out how some of the buttons work. The EZ on button is great but not as easy as pushing 1 for one minute - 6 for six minutes. If you want 3 minues you have to hit the button 6 times. Overall, I am very happy with the microwave now that I have figured it out. I wish the light was brighter. Great as a night light, but not for cooking,

I like everything about it except the placement of controls and replacement of the filter could be better. For example the EZ-on button could be larger and placed near the bottom. the charcoal filter is almost impossible to replace when the oven is mounted flush with overhead cabinets.

This microwave has been the best microwave for our family! It has a baby food button that really comes in handy of you have a little one, and the quick defrost button gets supper going in a flash!! I highly recommend this especially for people with family's! We love our LG!!

This is a basic microwave that does its job well. Good wattage rating makes cooking, reheating, etc. fast and even. The look of it in my kitchen is pleasing. Not too much more to say about the good job it does, but just a couple comments about features I wish it had. I really miss the ability to program the range light to turn on and off that my old unit had. I liked being able to have the light come on after dark and then shut off automatically before I went to bed, eliminating the need to turn the full kitchen lights on and off during the night. I'm not a fan of the "EZ-On" button. I like the instant on feature, but my old unit just had you press the number "1" for one minute, "2" for two minutes, etc. Having to press the ez-on button a few times to get to the time I want is a little cumbersome. The sequence for using the specialty buttons like "popcorn" etc., is a bit confusing and you would have no idea how to use them if you don't read the manual. Not up front intuitive. The door feels a bit cheap as it's made from light weight plastics, but seems somewhat weak and takes the perception of quality down a notch. Overall I like this microwave for the price I paid. It's very affordable for its size, wattage rating and that it's an over range unit. If it lasts for 10+ years like my other one did before dying out, I will be very satisfied with this purchase. Installation was easy as well.
