My main focus of this review is the Induction top. I have always cooked on gas ranges (45 + years). The home we just moved into is all electric and I have been having a horrible time adapting. We looked into getting gas installed but there was just no easy way to have it done. So I started researching Induction ranges. Took me a while to locate one at a store to actually look at. It wasn't hooked up to try out but at least I could get a feel for how it would work. Took a gamble and bought it. I have to say it is amazing. It definitely heats up quick. I can put 2 1/2 quarts of tap water in a 3 quart pan and it will be a rolling boil in just over 3 minutes. The number system for heat adjustments is very easy to use and understand.I think the biggest drawback to purchasing one is that even the salesmen are not very educated in there use. When I inquired if I could use my cast iron pans on it, I got a very definitive "NO" but when I made him drag out the owners manual to verify that, it stated it was OK to use them. He was shocked.I've learned:* They do make noise on the lower settings. You hear the magnet pulse. No big deal, makes a light clicking sound.* The surface does get hot under the pan. But you can put your hand within a 1/2" from the pan and the surface of the range is still cool.* I have a flat bottomed Wok and it works wonderfully on this range.* It is amazingly easy to clean* It is incredibly responsive to heat adjustments.* The kitchen stays cooler.* The stove top meals cook quicker, so I am spending less time in the kitchen.Drawbacks, only a few:* I have not found a non-stick skillet that will work on it. No biggie to me* You can't use a 2 burner grill pan.* A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: If you or a family member has a pacemaker, consult with your doctor or the manufacture before you purchase. The oven functions nicely, I still prefer a gas oven, but I have no complaints with this one. I really love the interior finish on the oven and how easy it is to clean. Love the large viewing window and the split rack is a nice feature. The convection feature is easy to use.

The lower door has openings to allow to air to escape. Unfortunately, this also allows spills to enter between the glass panes on the door. After three months the door looks filthy. I contacted Whirlpool regarding how to clean this and I was advised that I needed to have a service tech come out to clean my door. It is considered a "cosmetic" problem and is not covered under warranty. There is no way to avoid normal spills when using the oven. While I do like the double oven feature, it's not worth it to have my oven looking like I haven't wiped the door down, even though it was just cleaned. I was very excited when I purchased this very expensive oven and I'm sorry I wasted my money.

As of this review had the oven for about 3 weeks, so far so good. Having two ovens is great. The top works great as a pizza oven, and preheats really fast for when you need for quickly heat up frozen foods i.e. Chicken strips, biscuts, and bread. The overntop works great and heats up quick. Only complaint so far would be, don't like blue lighs, and countertop gets dull and smuudge real quick. One other minor thing, plug placement may cause unit to not be flush with countetop depending on where outlet is placed.

Haven't actually used it yet, but it looks beautiful and the elements heated up really fast when tested.
First Thoughts (still a work in progress)

My wife wanted a double oven and it had to be white - and this model was one of the very few out there that satisfied these requirements. What follows describes our experience in the first 2 weeks:Cook-top: Very good. Works well and there is a good variety of functionalityOvens: Give them a test run PRIOR to actually wanting to use them. The first time we could not get them to pre-heat of attain the desired temperature. The next day... they worked fine.Issues: Oven light contact was bent so we had to have a tech come out to fix (ordered new ones for both ovens).Disclaimer: Time will tell. So far more than acceptable. We did purchase the extra 4 years of warranty from the retailer which is something we never do with electronics.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm so happy I did. The smaller over is great, it heats up fast, it saves energy! For me, my every day cooking the small oven is all I need.

I replaced a propane range that I could not get vented properly. I love how quickly the stove top burners heat up--at least as fast as propane or gas. I'm still learning about all of the features, but it is easy to set and everything is working quite well. The small oven worked great for a small batch of muffins. The convection lower oven baked bread and pizza evenly.

I've had this a little over a month & I love it it. There are many new settings that make cooking faster than what my old oven had. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
a little disappointed.

After a lot of research I bought this on Labor Day at a great price and was excited to have a double oven range as I am a single person. I like the express pre-heat feature when I use the smaller oven. It holds the temperature evenly and bakes well. The large burner on the right side seems to be the quickest to come up to heat. The dual burner on the left side is much slower and seems to be inconsistant in keeping the selected temperature when using the smaller size. The two small back burners seen to be much more consistant, but are not as convenient to use. I should have paid more attention to the burner locations as I tend to use the smaller ones more.

Nice range with some flaws

The two door oven is great and the upper oven is used the majority of the time. The major drawback is the current draw which will blow your home's circuit breaker. You cannot run all the burners on the stove at one time. With all the burners and the top oven on, 58 amp draw which is larger than your home's 50 amp circuit breaker. Add the bottom oven and now you're pulling 70 amps. Second complaint is the fan blade in the convection oven. Design flaw causes the blade to warp in heat which sounds like a jet engine. It is being replaced with a newer designed fan next week. The good news is when everything is working well, it's a nice range
