fancy package no delivery
from British Columbia, Canada
I was so excited when I bought this washer. No more budget washers, this time I was getting the machine of my dreams! I followed the instructions on the initial couple of washes then started to do my regular laundry. I was completely baffled when after washing my husbands dirty jeans they came out with dirty streaks across them. I set the dial and rewashed, and then rewashed again. Finally they were almost clean. Parts of the material was clean but it was like the dirt was lifted and just redistributed in streaks across the clothing. I f the clothes are at all soiled this washer will not clean them. Which makes me wonder just how clean the clothes without obvious soil/dirt/grease actually are! After a couple of washes my dream became a nightmare. This very expensive beautiful washer was nothing but a lemon.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Washer That Doesn't Wash
from Las Vegas, NV, USA
What's the point of the heavy price tag and bells & whistles if it doesn't clean your clothes?? I think I use more water and electricity now with this "energy efficient" and "water saving" washer because I either have to run a load a second time or scrub everything by hand first in my bathtub before running a load in the machine. Someone please explain to me how a piece of clothing that stays on top of the pile of clothes in the machine is supposed to get clean. It's not getting clean just because it got soaked with water at the beginning of the cycle. If there's one major purchase in my life that I regret, it's buying this washer.

This washer does not spin water out of clothes. I was able to wring water out of the clothes.
Washer is easy to use, and performs well. It is too deep and I need to use a step stool to reach the bottom of the tub.

I wanted a washer that I could wash blankets and comforters in just what I wanted.
Samsung WA45H7200AW/A2 poorly constructed
5-28-14 I only had the washer for one month and water was seeping out from under the bottom of the washer. I had to spend 2 hours mopping up the water, wringing out the laundry, and scooping the remaining water out of the tub. I was not happy with your product. It turned out that when manufactured, 2 screws were loose allowing water to spray out of the tub gasket and fall to the floor underneath the washing machine. It is alarming to know this and to have to worry about water leaking out in the future when the screws loosen again. I do like the fact that this machine will save energy and water. I am very careful with my water usage because of the severe drought conditions in Los Angeles, last year being the worst in 100 years. Hopefully, I'll get the rebates for water and energy conservation and I will feel better about the purchase.
Our first HE washer.
We purchased our washer a few weeks ago and so far, it has done a great job. We have washed about 7 loads since it was delivered and so far, no complaints. It has a very quiet operation. The cycle options are great for a variety of loads. The washer is very user-friendly/easy to use. We are still getting used to a washer that only uses a fraction of the water our other washers used. We chose this washer because of it's many features including Aqua Jet for improved rinse performance, Smart Care where we can use our smart phone to diagnose problems and the expectation of being energy efficient while using less water. Just a well thought-out design. We look forward to purchasing the matching dryer soon. David in North Carolina
Very Good Washer
from Bakersfield, CA, USA
I received this washer approximately three weeks ago and have used it 3-4 times per week. Overall, it is a very good washer and has some very nice features. It does not have any annoying buzzers but relies on musical notes instead. It works great on conserving water. It has a HUGE tub [recommended not going over 3/4 full], no agitator [the bottom has a different kind of device to move the clothes and water] and really wrings out the clothes on the spin HIGH cycle. One thing I like about the machine is that it is made from recycled material. The downside, for me, is that the water level is totally automatic. The same appears true for settings but you can change them prior to starting the washer. Another problem is the pullout tray for the soap and fabric softener. It looks easy in the instructions but I almost feel like I will nearly break it before it POPS out unexpectedly. My biggest fear will be that with so many bells and whistles, something is much more likely to go wrong and will cost too much to repair. The motherboard alone must be quite expensive. I fail to understand why repair parts are more expensive than the original machine [not including labor]. The bottom line is that I think this washer will probably last 5-8 years [hopefully] and provide us with fewer washes [because of the very large tub] which means savings in water, electricity and wear & tear.
