Overall this is a good product. Little flimsy but its not made to fully protect the Tab from falls or hard impacts. Its made to give a little protection from bumps and spilled drinks, and the magnetic stand could use a stronger magnet. What kills this "cover" is the missing port opening for the IR control. You would have to take it out of the cover to work the remote. Its also a little pricey I would say $25 bucks at best. But I STILL love Samsung

It fits my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 perfectly. Now I know it will not fall out of the case. I wish it had a tab closure to keep it shut, but that's Ok as it really protects my Tablet. I can put it in my purse without worrying if something is going to scratch it. A great product and an awesome fit. Thanks Samsung!

I got this case for my newly purchased Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 as I found handling that tricky (it's a bit slippery) and was afraid I'd drop it. Also leaving the touchscreen exposed allowed it to collect dust or be accidentally scratched. In short I needed a protective covering. I read a few reviews online and found users either loved or hated this case. That said the negative reviews were for reasons I didn't find compelling so I purchased one. I don't regret that decision. The case is very light and doesn't, like other designs, make the tablet more bulky. I only have two complaints: 1) There's no strap/clasp to keep the book cover closed. 2) It's a bit pricey compared to 3rd party offerings. That said I recommend this product to protect your Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.
