DC44 Animal has a detachable long-reach wand, which is balanced for floor to
ceiling cleaning. The motorized floor tool has twice the power of the DC35 floor
tool, to drive the bristles deeper into the carpet pile with more force. It
attaches to the wand or directly to the machine for cleaning awkward spaces.
The brush bar has carbon fiber filaments for removing fine dust from hard floors.
DC44 Animal has a run time of 20 minutes or 8 minutes on Boost mode. Powered
by the Dyson digital motor, DC44 Animal has a fade-free nickel manganese cobalt
battery and Root Cyclone™ technology for constant, powerful suction.

Some conventional vacuum cleaners use a bag that can clog and cause suction
to drop. Instead of bags, Dyson vacuums use patented cyclone technology. Powerful
centrifugal forces spin dust and dirt out of the air and into the bin with
no loss of suction. DC44 has Root Cyclone™ technology and a fade-free nickel
cobalt manganese battery for high constant suction.

Michael Faraday discovered electromagnetic induction, the principle behind
the electric motor, in 1831. Yet, despite being technologically advanced at
the time, electric motors have changed very little since. Bulky, old-fashioned
components and lots of moving parts prone to failure.
Dyson engineers spent a decade developing new types of highly efficient digital
motors. The Dyson digital motor is smaller, lighter, cleaner and more power-efficient
than conventional electric motors. Dyson digital motors use digital pulse
technology, spinning at up to 104,000 times a minute (five times faster than
a racing car engine).
- Anti-static carbon fiber brushes
Static build-up causes fine dust to stick to hard floors. The brush bar on
a DC44 machine has filaments made from pure carbon fiber. They help discharge
static electricity, allowing more fine dust to be removed from hard floors.

T he center of gravity is located towards the grip for easy handling up top,
down below and in-between. The detachable wand is made from lightweight aluminium.
It extends to 66cm to clean up high, down low and into awkward gaps.

DC44 has a motorized floor tool with two types of bristles engineered for
cleaning different floor surfaces. Ultra-fine anti-static carbon fiber filaments
remove fine dust from hard floors. And stiff nylon bristles remove ground-in

to drive the bristles deeper into the carpet pile with more force.

DC44 has a run time of 20 minutes of high constant suctionor 8 minutes on
Boost mode. Other cordless vacuums may claim longer run time, but many lose
suction power during use. DC44 has constant powerful suction from the moment
you start to the moment you finish.
- Dual power mode
Dual power mode gives you two power options. 20 minutes of high, constant
suction for longer tasks. Or 8 minutes on Boost mode for tougher cleans.
- Docking Station
Stores the machine and attachments when not in use. The battery can be charged
while the machine is in the docking station, or separately from the machine.

DC44 Animal also comes with a mini motorized tool with increased power for
tough tasks. It removes pet hair and dirt from upholstery and confined spaces.
