Whirlpool Duet Chrome Shadow Gas Dryer - WGD96HEAC

I really enjoy the light in the drum and think this is a quality machine. Unfortunately, I don't think I know how to use it correctly. Clothes often come out with damp areas even though the dryer supposedly has a moisture sensor that senses when the clothes are dry. Also, although it has a refreshing cycle that can either be steam or dry, clothes come out much more wrinkled than the 15 year old dryer it replaced. The controls provide lots of options, but they don't remember the ones used most frequently so I have to set my preferences each time.

I am completly satisfied with all of my Whirlpool products that I have no problem recommending anyone I know to purchase a Whirlpool product, From the design to the ease of use to the overall look of there products. Quality is also important and they stand behind there products so you would be crazy to buy any other brand !!

i have been pleased so far with this dryer...Time will tell if its durable which is why i switched from Kenmore after 40 years.

You won't go wrong selecting this machine in my opinion!

I am still getting used to the new dryer but am really missing a feature on my old dryer called Sensor dry. This new dryer is supposed to have three sensors yet when the cycle ends the clothes are still slightly damp so they sit in the bottom of the dryer and get wrinkled. Maybe I am operating it wrong? There doesn't seem to be an adjustment to the pre-sets to add minutes or make the dryer warmer to avoid this. You can use the time dry and then the time and controls are adjustable of course but then you end up running the dryer longer than you might need, thus wasting energy and overdrying is not good for your clothes.

Love the way it looks, sounds and works would definitely recommend this product to others.

All has performed well except for the 'Check Vent" light. Always coming on within 3 minutes of the drying cycle

Words can not truly express how much I love my Whirlpool washer and dryer. It has features that can be customized to my exact needs without complicated instructions...it is very user friendly. Because of its extra large capacity and steam function, my workload has decreased! Less loads of laundry and less ironing can help to make life a dream.....or at least not a nightmare! Love you Whirlpool!
