Great machine but the tap touch controls are too sensitive. I end up changing the settings every time I lean against the machines. You can lock the control pad but it still beeps at you when you accidentally hit the contol pad.

THIS DRYER IS SOMEWHAT OF A NEW EXPERIENCE TO ME, ESPECIALLY THE STEAM. I LIKE IT IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE, AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH IT. MY CLOTHES COME OUT WITH HARDLY ANY WRINKLES AT ALL. THAT'S A REAL BIG PLUS, IN MY OPINION.

I have not had this dryer long enough to verify the dependability. But my past experience with Whirlpool appliances has proven positive, so I am hoping the same holds true for my new Whirlpool dryer. I am happy with the ability to dry fairly large loads in less than 45 minutes. I am very pleased with the fact that Whirlpool now has stainless steel tubs in their dryers. In the past I purchased another brand, because the stainless tub was a priority, and Whirlpool had porcelain. This model is very attractive and has all the features a person could want in a dryer. Very quiet. I hope to be still using this dryer 15 years from now. Definitely pleased and hope to be that way for many years.

I was sceptical about buying another gas dryer because my old one (which was probably 30 years old) was noisy and not very efficient...it took much longer than the washing machine to get the clothes dry. This dryer is amazing, virtually silent, I actually need to go all the way downstairs to see if it is still running or not and the drum is so big I could probably fit inside! The sensor dry feature dries clothes perfectly, but it does not work well with heavy loads like comforters...but there is a specific setting for that stuff. Typically a load of clothes only takes 30 minutes to dry. The cycle end tone is very sophisticated and loud enough for me to hear from upstairs. The steam refresh setting is great for pillows and to tidy up my uniform! I love the features of this set and am so happy with my purchase. I would absolutely recommend this dryer to anyone who is in the market for a new dryer.

I purchased the "top of the line" dryer and received a "top of the line" product! What my family loves most is the dryer will completely dry a large load of clothes prior to the completion of a large load of laundry. If you forget or do not have time to pull your clothes when the cycle is complete the dryer will continue to tumble to minimize wrinkles. As advertised the dryer is very quite.
