I've only had my Cuisinart two weeks, but have found it to be super helpful in speeding up prep time. I've made pie crust, hashbrowns, shredded cheese, chopped nuts, and more. This food processor lets me tackle time consuming recipes in very little time. I've also been pleasantly suprised at how quiet the motor is. Only shortcoming is that the lid doesn't form an airtight seal. Sometimes flour or finely chopped nuts sneak out when I'm pulsing. Other than that I've bee very pleased!
