First, this headphone is really comfortable. I can wear it for hours. Second, while their sound probably isn't "audiophile" quality, it is very good. I use it at home for listening to music. I've bought two more, one for outdoor use while biking and walking, one for when I travel for work.

As an audio hobbyist, I have always been a critical listener and have preferred Sony headphones for their quality range with this MDR-210 being no exception. Pleased with my MDR-V150 series which after many years of rugged use finally needed replacing, I went and purchased professional studio monitors to replace them which aren't viable for most portable use. With a budget in mind, these MDR-210 headphones caught my attention with attractive features as mentioned in the "Pros:" heading in this review coming in at a low price making them ideal for my decision to purchase something for portable use. I am quite impressed with them such far and they have exceeded my expectations.
