LG White Top Loading Washer - WT4870CW

I think this is one of the best washers for the price paid. A very economical purchase and too many features to list. I reccomend it to anyone,especially if you need to do large loads.

After the service techs set the washer up they gave us a brief instructions and showed us the quick start guide. It took me about two loads to get the hang of all the features and after that I was washing everything in sight. I have only two concerns: 1) I know the machine is load sensing and washes accordingly, but I wish it had a small load setting(not just quick wash) and 2) I have been able to unbalance it at least twice when I wash a particular woven cotton blanket. It was in a regular sized load with the other bedding and was set on "bulky bedding". I believe this particular blanket soaks up more water than the other bedding and therefore is heavier on one side of the washer. I have just gotten used to washing it with the towels so it weighs the same as other items in the load. Otherwise my over all experience with this washer has been excellent and I wouldn't go back to a traditional style ever again!!

I absolutely love this washer. The capacity to wash a large amount of clothes has saved me a ton of time. The machine is quiet and my clothes come out clean everytime. My two year old enjoys helping with the laundry as he gets to push the buttons to get the machine started. There is also a safety lock which means he can't get into the machine after it has started. Very easy to use.

Washer has worked excellent! Quiet, clean cloths very well, smooth spin cycle, great features. Overall excellent product.

I got this for my wife after our old one died. This was the best purchase that I have made for the house. She told me that this cleaned the cloths better than anything she has ever used.

We really like this washing machine. It holds lots of clothes - twice the amount of my previous machine. Runs quiety & has pleasant song to let you know that the load is finished.

This is the second one that we've owned, the first had to be replaced because the control unit burned out. We've had nothing but trouble with this product. constantly giving error codes and stops. you have to stand in front of it to make sure it works. Takes two to three days to do a single load of laundry.

There was no explanation I could find on the difference between "cold" and "tap water", I had to call. If I want a cold wash, I don't want hot water added to bring it up to your definition of cold. Make it Hot, Warm or Cold water wash. The other issue is that when the machine recycles for an off center load, it keeps adding more water .... what a waste of water!! I would rather the cycle was just paused until I rearranged the load manually... I was not watching the machine and a wash that should have taken 1:15 was still trying to reset the load with additional water after 2 hours.... and all I was washing was a medium-weight chenille bedspread. I tried washing it with a set of sheets but that also did not work. So now when I wash my bedspread I am forced to hover in the area to make sure everything works properly. I love the musical notes as the end alarm, instead of a nasty buzzer, but if the loud could be a little louder that would be great...

I was really excited to bring home this washing machine; it was a great value for its size. However, I have had nothing but problems with it. For whatever reason it can't balance the load and starts vibrating excessively. I have even watched the "how-to" video in regards to loading this machine. Its a very nice machine and again, good value; but it is just not working for me.

washing clothes,sheets, towels, pillows and ? all seam to go in ... and come out clean. getting used to low noise and fun song. lots of settings but not complicated. very happy with this purchase. Can't wait for long term performance record.All is good
