Keurig 18 Count Green Mountain Coffee Gingerbread Coffee K-Cup Pods - 00626K

K-CUP® COFFEE. The flavors and aroma of fresh-baked, warm gingerbread. Stock up now as this variety is available for a limited time only!

As with many of our flavored coffees, we took a down-home cook’s approach to crafting this brew. Combining flavors and roasts is very similar to working with your favorite recipes. And who doesn’t enjoy baking fresh, hot gingerbread? After baking various recipes and experimenting with different flavors, our final result tastes almost like a proud, “mother’s favorite” type of gingerbread pastry. Add some whipped cream and enjoy!

Nutritional Information: Our flavored coffees are free of calories and carbs, and have no additional nutritional impact. We add no sugars or sweeteners of any kind. So while our flavors may taste indulgent, they're absolutely guilt-free.

Kosher Certification: This product is certified kosher by the Orthodox Union.

My review is a bit unique because I tried this as both a hot coffee and an ice coffee. To both I added two sweetener packets and creamer. I first tried it hot and found it decent but nothing special. As others have said, the gingerbread taste was somewhat hard to detect. I was hesitant to try it as an ice coffee (I drink a hot coffee in the morning and an ice coffee in the afternoon) because gingerbread is more of a hot flavor. To my surprise, the gingerbread flavor was much more intense and present as an ice coffee. Usually it seems to be the opposite, that flavors need to be stronger to hold up to chilling.

So I will be drinking the remaining K-cups in this flavor as ice coffees, and I'll enjoy them. I like that the flavor is distinctly gingerbread (again, as an ice coffee). It's not just gingery or spiced, it tastes like gingerbread. This works surprisingly well as an ice coffee; sort of like an iced chai.

I really do like this coffee, I think it makes a delicious flavorful ice coffee. I only give it four stars because it's lacking as a hot coffee. Also, while it is yummy, I think it's best as a one-time-of-year kind of thing.

Firstly, I love Green Mountain Brand & was wishing for a box of their Eggnog, (it is out of season). I like gingerbread cookies and thought this Gingerbread holiday blend would have nice gingerbread spices or aromas. Sadly, it has next to no aroma and tasted very bitter & like ash. I am unsure what spice killed it. Its like a cup of waterly cloves with ash. There are no notes of nutmeg, light ginger or anything close to what you would expect. Perhaps there was a bad batch? I would not spend on this flavor again. I do like the brand though & will buy other flavors.

I love Green Mountain Coffee but this is by far the worse coffee I ever had. My mom give it to me around the holiday's and it was gross. I tried to like it but I couldn't even get half ways before I had to throw it out and it also left a strong gross after taste in my mouth even brushed my teeth and still there. Gross, gross, gross....what were they thinking.

I drink at least one cup of coffee a day, depending on my mood/day I may have 2 or 3 more cups. I LOVE gingerbread anything, lattes, breads, cookies, etc... When I saw the Gingerbread Coffee I thought this would be amazing, so instead of ordering a sample pack, I ordered 2 full sized boxes. Tried one and never touched it again. It tasted awful. To me, it had a weird almost sour after taste. Not good at all.

As a tea drinker, my palate prefers lighter, gentler roasts. The flavoring is complimentary to the lighter bean flavor as well. There is no need for sugar but maybe just a splash of half and half.
Best part is it's fair traded which means the farmers and coffee-berry pickers are paid a livable wage and practice sustainable farming techniques to ensure the longevity of their land.

All I'm going to say about this is really in the title... By name, it sounds like it should be one of the best flavors in the lineup. Unfortunately, you have to really like ginger to appreciate this flavor. There's none of the expected sweet, bread-like taste. I'm an all day coffee drinker this one is easily the worst of all the flavors I've tried.

Nothing wrong with this coffee but I really like bold flavors. I was a bit let down because I LOVE gingerbread. This coffee had a small hint of some sort of Christmasy flavor I guess. Definitely lacks flavor for my preference
