The first thing you notice about the SVD11225CXB is the outside design. It features a full tactile keyboard attached to a large 11.6" screen. The screen folds open like a traditional laptop, but it closes with the screen facing outward, resembling a slightly thicker than usual touch screen computer. In this closed position the SVD11225CXB still runs Windows 8 and allows you to use apps in an easy, portable format. It can also function as an e-reader in this closed position.
The inside of this Sony device is almost more impressive than the outside. A powerful Intel Core i7 processor puts this above many mid-range laptops in terms of computing power. The processing speed is matched by a snappy 256 GB Solid State Drive, which will create incredibly quick boot up times.
