I made ravioli with the pasta roller and after some initial learning experiences, it worked great. You need to make sure that you work surface is long and well dusted with flour. The rolled pasta can be very long. I quickly learned how wide to make ravioli and also learned not to roll past the #6 setting. #8 would be way too thin to handle for ravioli. The recipe I had said to use the thinnest setting for ravioli.

The roller easily attached to our Kitchen Aid mixer.

My daughter is learning to cook and enjoys making lots of things from scratch. Pasta is one that she really likes to make, but didn't like the rolling and cutting by hand. This product has turned our stand mixer into a terrific pasta press and cutter. It was delicious!!

THis is a great product it plugs right into the accessories port of your Kitchen Aid Mixer. It is made in Itlay, so it comes from the land of pasta, how could it not be perfect! Italians would never let an inferior product on the market, they are pasta perfectionist. It is so easy to use why buy the store pasta. I really love the control of the thicknes and how fast you can put roll the pasta. I have no complaints what so ever!

I am new to this process, and hope to improve as it was fairly complex. The pasta tasted great, but didn't the form come out as hoped. This is definitely something requiring practise.

[...] i decided to get the roller and 2 cutters. [...] I do make plenty of pasta, but i use it mostly for rolling smaller pieces of fondant or gumpaste. I had, for years, used a hand-crank machine. A tiny piece of plastic broke such that i could not use it anymore and thought the replacement part was not worth the cost. If i had to do a replacement, then i would go full bore and get an automatic. What a treat it is to use. Can use both hands to manage the dough. Couldn't be happier!

Friends said it was the best pasta they tasted and could not believe I could make 3 lbs in less than 1/2 hour. Pasta is so fresh and absorbs the sauces much better than store purchased.
