Thanks to all of you who rated this bread maker. I bought one a year ago and use it to make bread and more so, home made buns. They are so soft and delicious & melt in your mouth. All my neighbors & family love them. The only downfall is it takes 2 1/2 hours to make a batch. I will also spend a day making buns and freeze them with my vacuum sealer and up to 2 months later they are as fresh as the day I made them. I have tried other bread machines. This is the Best, most reasonable, easy to use, easy to clean up Bread Machine out there. If you are a 1st time buyer, please don't hesitate. You will love it!!

I have only made 6 loaves of bread. The XL egg bread failed twice and the XL fruit nut failed. All three loaves looked like they were not mixed enough, did not rise, had very hard dark crust, burned on bottom. I used new ingredients and tested the yeast. I am very disappointed with this bread maker after purchasing it for the features and good reviews. It is one month out of warranty.

Great bread but bakes just a few minutes too long
Comments about Panasonic Yeast Pro Automatic Breadmaker:
I bake at least two loaves of whole grain bread a week but stop the baking between 5-10 minutes before the cycle completes. If the cycle goes the complete 5 hours, the crust is much to dry, brown and hard. By stopping just a few minutes short of the 5 hours, the bread is PERFECT. Besides the nuisance of having to set a timer to stop the baking process manually, I really do like this bread machine.

We love this bread maker. Except for one small thing: When you use the quick bread setting the yeast usually partially misses the pan.
love this machine, but... a little noisy

I usually eat rice for breakfast, but I changed to bread.... and then... I got a stomach pain.... so I guessed... that was an ingriendet problem. I made a plan, and I bought this bread maker and organic ingredients together~~ and the result was amazing. I don't have any pain anymore~~~ and the taste was fantastic and the baking time makes everybody happy. The outside of bread is crunch and inside is so soft! The best thing of making bread is that I can choose the best Ingrid entry what I like!!!! However.... it is a little noisy when it is mixing... and the recipe inside of manual is so so...... Except two, I really love it.

the panasonic bread machine was the first one I had. After losing it in the fire of my house,I have tried many other machin of many brand, I am very happy I went back to Panasinic. Now I know the how much of a better product it is. I will not use any other one.
Easy to use.

Easy to use. Even for beginners like my self. Set it and forget it. Just make sure to get the bread out as soon as the machine stops, otherwise it will change the shape and the texture of the loaf. Great investment

Makes great bread! After little over a month, the non-stick coating on the kneading blade started cracking so contacted Panasonic for a replacement.

We got this bread machine as a replacement for an old Welbuilt machine. The Panasonic is very well made, and makes an excellent loaf of bread. Very efficient at kneading the ingredients without any dry flour left over in the corners. The finished loaf slides out of the baking pan easily, and the mixing paddle doesn't get stuck in the loaf. Our only complaint is that the controls are not particularly easy to figure out without consulting the manual. After using the machine a few times, it is easy to do, but the initial settings require looking up "how to". Fresh bread daily is a great treat! The smell is fantastic, and the taste is exceptional. Very happy with our purchase.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this breadmaker. I originally was going to buy a more expensive brand, but reality set in and I chose this one. Glad I did! I works great. I've been using it for over a year now with no problems. And I've eaten tons of great, healthy bread!
This is our first bread maker. We had great success with it right out of the box. Makes the perfect dough for our Feta&Olive focaccia.
Efficient little baker

I love the French bread this machine makes and bakes. The metal baking tray (dish?) is easily removed by its small metal handle and doesn't leak crumbs to the heating element (as my prior bread machine did). I also like the yeast being added later in the baking process by the separate compartment for it on top of the machine. This seems to improve the rising in my breads. The LCD and function selection display could be a little more clear when you are selecting " Bake" or "Dough", but that's a minor quibble. This is a very nice, relatively quiet bread machine.
