Short and sweet - Make sure you view this TV at a store and look at the way you may have it positioned at your house. Also, make sure you look at same size as the 55 and 65 F7100 panels are different than the 60. Excellent picture when viewed straight on as this unit has limited viewing angles. Especially when mounted on the wall. HDMI ARC support still needs some work. If you use HDMI ARC, you will most likely need a 2nd remote. The TV will ALWAYS send a signal to change the tuner to the TV source and you will need to manually change the receiver to your settop box source. After the initial power on, you are good to go. If you don't want this hassle, use ToshLink but if you have run the cables behind the walls, this will be more of a pain. Sluggish Smart Hub Apps. Great picture, some limitations. Great value - would purchase again.

I purchased Samsung LED F7100 Smart Series TV on 12- 31 2013. By May 2014 the TV had a dark shadow on the bottom middle portion of the screen. The Samsung repairman stated that the whole TV panel would have to be replaced. My one year warranty on Parts and Labor is still in effect, so I won't have to pay for the replacement. However, I still don't know if I am willing to say that this is a product that can be trusted to be without defect for a reasonable length of time after the initial purchase. In all other respects, we enjoyed the TV, .. and thought that it was reasonably priced for the services that it provided.

Smart TV getting dummer and dummer with useful app removals

My TV is slowly losing valuable apps that I purchased it to use. It is becoming less a value by the month. You can blame the third party providers all you want but you partnered with them and sold your product to work with them. I am not a happy customer.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Samsung slipped - Not a bad product - but could be better

The firmware v12 for the Smart hub TV is messy at best - I used to click on the smart hub buton and there it was - now i do that and then have to click on the features icon - then I have to scroll and find the hub icon - then click on it to bring up the hub - Samsung your going backwards - instead of customer minded forwards - please remove this new feature - which at best should be called and oops - we'll fix that. I don't know about other - but my smart tv seems to lock up quite often and I have to unplug to 30 seconds and re-plug it in and it will turn itself back on. - Don't know if this is another (Samsung feature) or an issue with the TV - know one has been able to identify it yet.
Big TV but Easily made less noticeable
We, have this 60 inch tv mounted on a fold away wall mount. When watching, the screen dominates the room. However, when folded against the wall The screen is much less noticeable.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
LED F7100 Series Smart TV - 60" Class
had this for 18 months & still going strong. speakers a bit week but external speakers cured that.
Great piece of gear
This TV is packed with that easily compare to a handheld mobile device - meaning its got apps we are all familiar with and it's very easy to use. The wifi likes to disconnect now and than - that's the only con.

I sit approx. 15 feet from the tv ( 60") and the picture is very sharp. I have a 40" 4k uhd and the picture is almost as clear as watching a show in 4k resolution. both are Samsung. this TV has so many features to explore that can make it even better. worth the money in my opinion.
I only had this tv for 3 months when I had to replace the screen. At least it was under warranto and is the only real problem.

After update software everything good Menu: too many step go though Problem, too many button on remote the button I want not show up like PiP .. Amazon button I don't need it on remote? The app smart view on device, software need update please
