I went to big box store that had rows of tvs and the picture on the Samsung stood out from the rest. I got a great price and took it home and put the stand on hooked up my Roku and was watching Tv in less than 15 minutes. Did I mention I'm a 66 yrs old and technically challenged? This is my bedroom tv and I'm using an indoor antenna and Roku and the tv has a great picture. If you are going to be using several additional devices you may want a model with more ports. This an easy to use tv with a simple to use remote. The only improvement I would make is glow in the dark numbers on remote. The sound quality is good. I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this tv. . I did research on line and found Samsung tvs highly rated.

I bought this TV today after assessing the features of the various models. I wanted the Internet apps and especially the built in wireless adapter. I love the picture and the performance of the speakers. The TV is in the master bedroom. I have analog cable and DTV cable. I was surprised at the quality of the analog cable channels. As the salesman at Best Buy told us the speakers are adequate (quite good) in the bedroom. I am able to use a USB mouse and keyboard. The remote is nearly useless for any character input for setting up the wireless connection and for the internet. The master bedroom on the second floor at the other side of the house from the wireless router. I am using 802.11n at both 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz. I was initially unable to configure the wifi on the TV. I brought the TV to the den and connected it with an ethernet cable and updated the firmware and checked out the Internet features. I found the setup easy with the wired connection. In the den I was easily able to connect wirelessly. Back in the master bedroom I had problems. The TV only intermittently detected the wireless signals. When it detected a signal 2.4 GHz showed three bars and at 5 GHz there were two bars. After much trial and error I was able to connect to wifi at 2.4 GHz. Error messages are non-existent. Sometimes when searching for a signal the TV would not accept inputs from the remote. It was pass/fail with no help diagnosing the problem. I found that some web pages require a newer version of the Flash player. I have not discovered how to update the player.

The glitch is that the time info sign comes on the upper left hand corner of screen and blocks the providers channel info. So far Samsung has not been able to rectify the problem.
This TV has great color and clarity.

Never thought my wife would be so excited about a TV. I got this one for our bedroom. Now she wants one for the family room.

This TV does not have a power button on the set itself, only on the remote control. Therefore if you are on cable or using satellite you have to use 2 remote units. You also have to use the TV remote to control the volume. Really poor design. A hassle to deal with.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Love all the Samsung TVs I've owned. Never had a problem with one. This one is a replacement for a different brand that cost more and only lasted 3 years.
This works great
The processor is sometimes a little slow. Wish it had the xfinity app.
