BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This is an okay dishwasher and beats our 10 year old one hands down. It cleans dishes very well (except baked on cheese) and there is lots of space for large items. Adjustable upper shelf and fold down tines on the lower level are nice features. It also has a food disposer (no more cleaning filters) and has an NSF (sterilize option). I like that the controls are all on the outside. It does not have a stainless steel interior. Also It is a bit too noisy for a higher end dishwasher. It has the GE Quiet IV system. More expensive GE dishwasher models have the Quiet V system. Still it is okay we are fine with it.

Pros:	Easy To Load, Attractive Design, Multiple Settings, Energy Efficient
Best Uses:	General Purpose
Cons:	Noisy
