It Does What it Says
from Long Geove, IL
About Me Avid Cook
We are a family of 6 and go through dishes frequently. I like the silverware shelf . Silverware comes out cleaner, it is organized and allows for easy unloading. Still learning how to load dishes and pots and pans efficiently. I must say my dishes are all coming out much cleaner. Follow the recommendations on dish and rinse products. I used my old stuff and the dishes came out dirty.

Nice dishwasher. Little pricey.
from Chicago, IL
Bottom dish rack is too narrow for my stoneware/dinner plates and they fall forward. There is no good spot for large soup/cereal bowls.Love the top silverware rack but it is smaller than my old Miele model.
Very good service and delivery. We purchase all our appliances from Abt. The deliveryman was professional and efficient.

Easy to use, quiet run
After having dishwasher with many different cycles that I never used, this is a pleasure to have it simplified that works well. The dry cycly actually dries most if not all of the excess water!
The Mercedes Benz of Dish Washers
By Brian the Framer
from Evanston, IL
Precision built, whisper quiet, we find it washes everything. It cleans pots and pans as well as wine glasses beautifully. It holds a lot of dishes, silverware, pots and pans. We especially like the top, third rack/tray that pulls out for washing silverware, making it really easy to put the silverware away in bunches. Also, it has an easy-to-open trap for food bits and debris that makes it easy to keep the unit clean and unclogged. Great machine, best I have ever used. Bought this dishwasher to replace a 16 year old Kitchenaid. I think it will outlast even that…….
Miele 24" clean touch steel dishwasher
from Hoffman Estates IL
This dishwasher is QUIET! loading is GREAT! items are for the most part DRY! at end of cycle. long cycle to clean dry, so best use is to run at night, empty in morning. LOVE IT!
from Ingleside, IL
It is exceptionally quiet and does a great job cleaning dishes. It is a bit more expensive that many other models, but worth the extra expense.
Delivery team was spot on. They were fast efficient and polite.Abt should be very proud of Bobby and Chris.
I'm in love!
I replaced another dishwasher that was only three years old with this one and I love it.
To Terri (the other review)
Terri.... Inside your dishwasher on the sides of the cup rack are orange handles, if you pull on those you can adjust the height of the drawer, thus giving you extra dish space! Hope that helps!

Love it so far
from barrington, illinois
I have only had this dishwasher for a week. So far, I am pleased with how clean my pots and pans are - my kitchenaid, which I loved, never got the outsides that clean. The utensil rack is something I wish I'd always had. Silverware goes on the outsides and serving pieces on the inside. However, I seem to have more serving pieces, so the utensils go on the inside. They still fit great that way. I'm still getting used to fitting my plates in. Mine are 10" and they don't fit very well. 9" plates would fit fine. After a couple of more weeks, I'm sure I"ll have figured it out. It doesn't have a heating element, which was what died on my kitchen aid, and there is always some moisture, especially on plastic, which is okay because you can put plastic things in there that you would not have dared put in with a heating element. I'm also glad it has a stainless spray bar on the bottom. I think it will hold up better to use. If you buy, please check the height requirements. Many are 35 3/4". Mine was 34 3/4". Also check with your salesman, because this one shows a higher height, but it was 33 1/8" which was not shown in the specs. Due to my height restrictions, I picked a dishwasher that was not as nice as this - Ken Grubba found me a better one that fit. So far, I'm really happy with it. My husband is such a nut on German engineering, we'll see. If not, I'll update later.
