We've had our washer for about 4 months and it's been great! It's quiet, spins things hard and overall does a good job getting things clean. I have two small things to point out that might be helpful to someone...first, it is very deep. My kids can't help put stuff in the dryer because they can't reach in that deep...I feel like I'm crawling in to get that last sock sometimes. And often, things get really twisted and tangled, which in turn makes a lot of wrinkles if you weren't going to put those items in the dryer. But overall, we're happy happy happy :)

I have owned several Whirlpool products in the past and never had an issue until now. This product is simply poorly designed and a poor performer. I have read and followed the instruction manual to no avail. I have a large family and the washer has been used many times over the last six months and my wife agrees - it simply doesn't work. The clothes will not rotate (we used to call it agitate) in the drum, and those on top tend to stay on top. Pants and sheets usually become twisted and knotted together. There is simply no way sheets can be clean if they are come out like a wad of Twizzlers tied in knots. Stay away from the top loaders. We will be going back to a front loading machine as soon as possible.

Comments about Whirlpool Cabrio White Top Loading Washer:
Needed to replace an older topload. The features and appearance are awesome and sold the unit but after washing with it-WOW. It cleans better and with a LOT less detergent The only thing is the cats we have don't like the whirling sounds it makes.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

not as great as I thought
from Clio, MI, United States
I bought this 2 months ago and am very disappointed in how all of my clothes come out so so wrinkled. No amount of drying takes them out... Only ironing EVERYTHING works and I hate to iron!! I have tried putting it on selected setting... Still wrinkles... I do like the quietness but I would much rather have a louder washer that doesn't leave my clothes in the mess they are in clean or not.

I really am happy with my new washer. The tub is huge. Everything is coming out clean, even though there is hardly any water. I don't know how it works, but it does.
By happy washer

We were in the immediate need for a washer. This washer was the 2nd one we looked at. The price was great, and have been using it almost every day, and very happy with the purchase.
HATE THIS WASHER!!

My husband just bought this washer two days ago and I hate it! I'm calling on Monday to see if they can take this heap of trash back! No water, always unbalanced, twisted clothes that are dirty. Wow- what a deal!
Who Needs a Front Load Washer?
from High Point, NC, United States
The top-load washer replaces a front-load model. It's much quieter, easy to load and unload, incredibly intelligent, beautiful, a water miser, and fun to watch with it's see-through top.

Washer with Eco System
from Kansas City, MO, United States
I really like the Eco System feature. Takes a little getting use to for the sounds and new type of agitator. Not as quiet as I had hoped but is in a room with a door so not bad. Very deep and hard for a person with short arms to reach to bottom of tub. I definitely think it cleans better than the Whirlpool front loader I had.
Exceeds my expectations!
from Hummelstown, PA
I bought this Whirlpool to replace my 27 year old Maytag and I love it! It uses much less water and detergent and spins the wash much faster than my old machine that drying time is greatly reduced. This is my first Whirlpool appliance and I am happy and will definitely considering Whirlpool in future appliance purchases.
