I have seen many reviews of people that love their NEW dishwasher but none from those that have had them awhile. Maybe I'm tempting fate here but I have to admit that since it's installation I have not had a lick of trouble. We have hard water but we use the rinse fluid so no spots. We also have hot water (about 120deg F) and good pressure. I have put dishes in with only being scraped and they come out clean. My only two critiques are 1) wish there was a "wash and hold" I used that a lot in my old machine, 2) for reasons I can't fathom I have to rinse all traces of rice off of a plate or it sticks. The machine is very quite, but Sanitize mode is louder. must be a pump running. I have one simple question to add, what the heck are the blue folding tabs on the top rack on the left hand side? They look like they are supposed to hold a knife, but that doesn't make sense. The manual says nothing about them.

I have Samsung Tv's, so I figured why not give their Dishwashers a try. This dishwasher has been the worst one I have ever purchased. I have not been too impressed with the functionality of the Dishwasher from day 1. Our dishes would have food particles on them after it completed its cycle. I would routinely have to either: a. Rewash manually b. or send through another cycle. Note: I rinse all of our dishes before putting them in there. They are not spotless, but have been pre-rinsed. This has been a problem plagued with this dishwasher from day 1. After 10 months it stopped running all together. I received 2 blinking lights (SmartAuto and Normal) which mean a High temperature Heating error. I also have a rust spot on the left inside panel of the Dishwasher. I had a Dishwasher technician out and they need to replace the heat sensor. I was still within my 1 year warranty, so I wasn’t too upset about it. They were going to take a picture of the rust and send in the claim once the labor was complete. After a few weeks I called the company I bought this from and they said they submitted the claim to Samsung and the warranty part has to come from the Factory in Japan. This has taken 2 months and my 1 year warranty expired on April 7th. They still do not have the part from the factory, so I called to tell them to just order the part from somewhere else (part should be here in 2 days). Overall here is an overview of my problems with this model: 1. Dishes need to be routinely rewashed. 2. The sanitary option does not dry effectively. Dishes are still wet and need to be hand dried. 3. Rust has developed on the inside. 4. Dishwasher completely stopped working after 10 months. Well I guess it hasn’t been 100% working from day one based on my other issues I have with this model. 5. Submitting a claim for a part should not take 2+ months to get. 6. If I wanted to wash my dishes by hand I wouldn’t have bought a Dishwasher.

I love this dishwasher... it's actually so quiet that I have to put my hand on it to feel any vibration to see if it's running. The unit was very easy to install. The ability to adjust the height of the rear leg from the front of the system is a great example of the thought that went into this design. I've only had the unit for a few weeks, so I'll follow up if my experience changes.

Avoid- Poorly designed, poor performance!

This dishwasher is quiet! It is attractive, until you use it! It cleans poorly, and often requires a second cycle for day to day plates and cups (pre rinsed). My other issues is how wet everything is when cycle is complete- I need to towel dry! Speaking of all that water, due to what may be poor drainage, thick mold build ups occurs and you frequently need to wipe out the dishwasher. I have had lower end dishwashers that perform significantly better!

Love it, you can hardly hear it when its running. Had no problems thus far.
So small, run it twice!
from Phoenix, AZ, USA
This is a very small dishwasher on the inside, making it susceptible to overloading very easily. I have to run it with about 1/2--2/3 the dishes of the previous washer I owned just to get things clean. It does not fit standard sized pans unless they are laying flat and taking up all the room. With a toddler and an infant and lots of bottles and sippy cups to wash, I easily have to run this machine 2-3 times per day, making it's energy efficient rating useless. It also is very difficult to get fingerprints off the front so it always looks dirty.
I got a lemon
I purchased this dishwasher and it broke after 16 months. I repaired it myself and now it broke again at 20 months. Do not buy this.
This dishwasher is amazing!!

I absolutely love my dishwasher. From the clean design to how quiet it runs. I'm completely satisfied with all features. I really like having the control panel on the top of the dishwasher. Makes it easy to use. I have had no problems with this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a dishwasher that gives you your money's worth.
This pruduct is very exspencive and will breakdown right after the year warrenty is up.
from Connecticut, USA
The machine works good when it isn’t broke down , it looks nice ,but what good is that if it breaks down within a year of normal use. Very expensive for it to break down within a year or just after the warranty is up. The rack inside is not designed to hold the maximum amount of dishes. however it is easy to install / clean, but if it is broke down you wont have to clean it.
Need another feature
from Huntsville Al
I believe it needs a feature where you can just rinse instead of going through the whole cycle.
Not a Reliable dishwasher
from Eau Claire, WI, USA
We have owned this dishwasher for 16mos. It has been unusable for 10 of those 16 months. First time it was broken down the sensor had to be replaced. The second time a water valve had to be replaced. The third time, the sensor was replaced again, along with the door closure. Do not buy this model!
