Since I rely so much on customer reviews I felt it necessary to talk about this stove. I've had it for 3 weeks and haven't had time to try everything yet, but so far every feature I used was great. I used the bread proofing to make pizza dough and had a pizza within 2 hours after the thought crossed my mind. The multi-purpose burners are great. I used the large middle burner for both the griddle concept and as a burner. Initially I thought that the flame was too low for the griddle, but it made perfect pancakes. It also saved me when I was preparing a large quantity of pot roast for a family dinner. I had too much meat to fit into my baking pan to roast in the oven for 5 hours. I didn't have time to do this twice. I took the extra roast and put it in another baking pan and cooked it on the large middle burner on top of the stove while the other roasts were cooking in the oven. I was able to set my sauce on the rear simmer burner and walk away from it for hours without worrying about it burning. My sour cream coffee cake was perfect. The pull out oven rack is great. I had to check the manual regarding the convection feature. On my prior electric stove, the convection fan went on immediately. On this stove it doesn't come on until the desired temperature is achieved and then goes on and off intermittently. Oven heats up fast. Easy to clean and keep clean.

This dishwasher is very quite, at least most of the time and my kids like the little ding-dong songs it plays when you press the buttons. I guess it looks fine. The adjustable top rack adjusts well enough between the two positions. The inside (where no one looks) seems to stay shiny. I guess that's nice too. That completes the positive part of the review. For the remainder, I'll try to go in order of greatest annoyance to least. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Samsung until now. I've had quite a few of their products and have been very happy with them overall, but this has soured that relationship quite significantly. This dishwasher has absolutely terrible cleaning performance. I have used several name-brand, high quality detergents, tried stacking dishes differently, pre-rinsed everything, even pre-washing anything that looked even slightly messy and checked the little nozzles in the arms but it makes no difference. This dishwasher doesn't clean dishes well. It didn't the first day and it hasn't any day since. Since this is task number one for a dishwasher (washing dishes, that is), this is a really big fail right there. I included a picture of some bowls in my last load. I load them now skipping tines so they're not "stacked" AT ALL, the bottom of the first bowl and the top of the second are an inch apart, LOTS of space between them, yet look what's left. And please note that food residue is soft and rinsed off. It is quiet but only when I the drain pump isn't running. For some unfathomable reason when you turn it on and close the door, the first thing it does is noisily try to drain the dishwasher for about 4 or 5 seconds. At a couple of other points throughout the cycles it'll do the same thing for anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds. Otherwise it's reasonably quiet. This dishwasher uses rinse aid at least 4 or 5 times as fast as our old one. And since it doesn't really get the dishes very clean, "costs 5x as much in rinse aid" isn't really a useful "feature" to have. All of the prongs that hold dishes are too close together and are too vertical. I know Samsung would like you to believe that you can put 12 place settings in it, but you can't because they'll never come clean. All your dishes will fall over anyway because the tines are terribly spaced and angled, but I don't think I need to belabor that point because it's my own fault for not having brought enough of my dishes to the store to test with. Anyway, if you put just a single well-rinsed glass, plate and fork in it you'll have a better than 50% chance they'll all come out clean. Anything more and I'll guarantee at least one item (probably 4 or 5) will need to have food remnants chipped out of it and rewashed by hand. Sometimes with all the pre-rinsing I've had to learn to do I think that this dishwasher *adds* food to the load. I can't think of any other reason so much food detritus would be left otherwise. There's no way to turn off the heated dry setting, which basically is just a "bake on all the food particles I left on your dishes so you have to chip them off."

So far so good

It's only been a few weeks but I really like it so far. Very easy to use and I do love the grates on top, much easier moving things around vs the 4 burner style. I didn't use the griddle yet but other than that I'm very pleased with my purchase.

We purchased all Samsung appliances , within 2 years all have had major system problems . Do not buy Samsung appliances unless you have the money to replace them within 2 years of purchase
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Avoid like the plague
If you could carry a dishwasher on a plane, this lemon would make the news and Samsung would make an effort to right their wrongs. Within 6 months to 1 year of purchase, you get error codes out the wazzoo and their is no remedy if you are just out of warranty. This is an over-engineered appliance. With luck, everyone who bought this will get a whopping $5 back from the class-action suit that is bound to occur eventually.
Love cooking with my new Samsung stove.

Very well built and sturdy. Really like how it heats up so fast and turns the heat off. This is my first gas stove and after using it I wondered why I had not gotten one sooner. The only thing I miss is the compartment under the oven is so small. My whole set of pans do not fit. Only two pans fit. Wish they could of made it a bit larger. The displays are easy to set and read.
I have owned this dishwasher for many years and have had to pull it out and replace the same sensor 4 times. So the day before I decided I was going to jerk the thing out of the kitchen and set it roadside for the scrappers to pick it up. I opened it up and it smelled to high heaven since it hadn't ran in a few days so I filled up the bottom of the tub with about a gallon of water (with a spray wand) and about a cup in a half of bleach and let it sit for 24 hours, after the 24 hours was up I started a normal cycle and it has ran perfectly ever since. The tub is cleaner than it has ever been and the dishes are spotless. Hopefully this serves useful with someone having the same problem.

This range is designed beautifully, but I'm even more excited about the 5th burner and included griddle pan. Samsung seemed to really make this range as user friendly as possible, especially the different sized burners that make doing some cooking jobs faster and easier.
This unit is over priced box.

Over priced box. Does not clean well. Has NO heat coils to heat water so you have to set the water heater temperature really high. Loose all the money savings. JUNK!!

Just not that good

Takes 3-4 hours to complete a wash. Dishes have to be checked for food particles after each wash. I would not recommend any Samsung dish washers after experiencing this model. We have been using for several months and if I could afford it I would buy another and trash this one.
