This dishwasher was a replacement for a Bosch that need up being...well... A waste of money. This is a nice design, well built, and easy load unit that is very quiet. Love the dishwasher. As impressive is Abt. The customer service, quality of the installer, quality of the phone order, communication, promptness of service call (in sub zero temperatures and snow w/horrible traffic) is totally impressive. Abt is exactly what you expect from the term "service provider" and if you live in Chicago, or beyond, they are the best. With such poor & sloppy stores and installers now, I felt the need to reinforce the Abt experience.

I actually wound up getting the silver door, as the first two white ones arrived damaged.I love the look and it is unbelievably quiet. It washes really really well if you don't have a heavy load. No overlapping dishes (which I did all the time with my old machine). Top rack doesn't clean as well if it heavily loaded. The cycles are incredibly long as well. Uses a lot less water than my old machine, but I have to wonder about the extra electricity it is using to run about 1 1/2 times longer for a normal cycle...As for loading...this dishwasher comes prepared for you to wash a LOT of stemware. I don't know about you, but I only use stemware on holidays, so for the most part, these are a waste of space. I can't seem to get the hang of loading pots and pans into this machine along with dishes. Seems like I am fitting less into the basket than I did with the old machine. My sink always seems to be full of dishes!

This unit replaced an 18 YO dishwasher. It is very quiet, cleans well, has a variety of settings that do a good job. It is smaller than the old unit and the arrangement of the tines has taken some getting used to, but overall we are very pleased with it.
poor drying top rack

Quiet, but more gadgets then what is necessary.

Took a few of us to get it started for the first time, because of all the delay start mechanisms. Does a great job and is very quiet. Love the ease of cleaning the surfaces.
Upgraded to this washer for my new home, don't regret that decision at all!

We bought this d/w 15 months ago as part of a kitchen upgrade. We an empty nest couple so it takes several days to get something like a full load. It cleans just fine, but the racks are terrible. The bottom rack tines have no adjustments--works fine for lots of plates but terrible for bowls--and the spacing of the floor tines is wide so you have to be careful that smaller items can't hang through and block the rotating washer. The upper rack makes you wonder if the designer ever tried to use it. It breaks wine glasses and though it pretends to have a holder for stems it doesn't work unless you put each glass over a vertical tine, taking up two rows. Finally, like most of its competitors, the silverware tray is on the side, so you have to open the door fully and slide the bottom rack out to access any but the closest baskets. No, one more thing. It's made of tinfoil. Your first clue is the warning not to use your knees to push the d/w into place as that would dent the door. This is the worst dishwasher we have ever owned.
Doesn't wash, doesn't dry.

We are about ready to put this pile of junk on the curb. It never really washed anything that wasn't pre-scrubbed. It never dried well either... lot's of water on everything even after a 2.5 hour cycle. Now the heating element will not warm at all.
