Printer is excellent, only missing is a larger display. The printer's built-in display is too small and difficult to read. Also, the Fax option, if you have a phone connected to the printer, and from the printer to your phone/answering system, doesn't work the way it should. The fax tries to pickup the phone line even if it is just a regular call. You can change fax settings and at least the fax won't pickup and allows your answering machine, but, after a couple of seconds, fax pickups the phone and caller is unable to leave a message, or continue a regular call. Finally, I disabled the Fax Receiveing options of using a particular code. Now calls get thru OK, but if I were to receive a fax I would have to manually press the start button to receive it.

This Printer is average to good for a laser printer. First time setup was great for Mac wireless setup. However if you need to change your wireless router it can be a nightmare. I had to find the setup disk to reinstall software serval time to get the printer to work wireless (to much trouble and time). It finally went. Push button interface on print would not let me setup network manually because it would not let me select my wireless network.. If you are pretty smart about computers this will be a great printer for you; if not go with another brand that has a simple interface and will allow you to connect wirelessly without having to install the setup disk serval times. The printer is not for your mother or father or someone who is technology challenge.

No manual paper feed
from Springfield, MO, USA
Comments about Samsung Multifunction Xpress Printer:
I needed a new printer and I was excited to get this one set up. I love it with one huge exception. There is no place to manually feed in a different size paper. I do a lot of printing using both letter and legal size paper. To change from letter to legal you must remove the paper tray, remove the paper, adjust the tray, add new paper, replace the tray, print the 4 pages of legal then remove the tray, remove the paper, adjust the tray, add the letter size paper and replace the tray. This is a big pain when you only have 4 or 5 sheets of legal to print. You have to go through the same process if you want to copy a legal size document.

I like the printer and it's features. It should have come with a way to do envelopes without removing the paper though. I am also disappointed in the lack of instructions. True to Samsung form, some features are almost unusable because Samsung does not provide instructions. I own numerous Samsung devices (TVs, Blu-Ray, cell phone, and now printer). This printer came with software that provides for scan & stitching of large format prints. There is absolutely no instructions though so I have not been able to figure out how to stitch more than two or three segments. The software also does not either store those scans or at least there is no information as to where they are stored, so each time I have needed to rescan each segment. Too time and labor intensive to do much of.

Compact printer considering fax, scanner and color capability. Good print outs Original cartridges will not reach 500 pages. Wireless features.

Problems with paper jams and had to send back for repairs. Now the toner is almost impossible to find!
This product is unsatisfactory.
from Arizona, USA
After hours of searching nothing said this model could not handle envelopes. No manual in the box, needed to do other tasks, searched on line for step-by-step instructions, downloaded manual, and THEN found out the model is not equipped to handle envelopes. The machine is slow to warm up and in-between printing jobs I have to 'wake' up the machine before it will print the next task. After the 'wake-up' you still have to wait for it to warm up and give the indication it is ready to print. I can't do my work and must move to another printer, which is not a Samsung, in order to print envelopes and other not so common tasks.
Text is sharp but images are fuzzy
from Dallas area
Printed text looks sharp and well defined but color items look slightly out of focus. Also trying to print photographs does not give satisfactory results: the colors are off and the images look out of focus.
Samsung Quality At It's Best!
from Pekin, IL, USA
I purchased this printer because of the success we have had with other Samsung products. This is a wonderful printer for the price. Excellent quality printing, crisp clear color on pictures. Extremely happy.

Tried to print photo on 170g/m2 Matte Photo paper. Three times paper jam and gave up. Printer can not handle.
