My new washer is quite a leap forward. The Maytag that this replaced was loud, and used a lot of water. This new machine is super quiet. You just put some High Efficiency soap in load it with clothes and close the lid. Press the start button and then the spaceship gets ready for take-off. With clicks and buzzes that follow it measures the weight of your clothes and selects the correct amount of water to clean the wash. This is very unique from what we were used to, and very happy with it, even the 12 year old is doing her own laundry. Excellent product at a fair price.

Over an hour to wash one load of permapress and twice as long to dry because of slow spin. Hate that lid locks down & can't see how much water there is. Supposed to add soap and softener before adding clothes and instructions say add water to fill-line of softener dispenser, but no water comes in until it senses and lid locks down so have to go to sink to get water. Have tried casual, normal, deep water wash & heavy duty. Seems to clean okay, but I liked being able to choose the amount of time to wash, type of load, etc. On heavy duty, waited 8 minutes for it to sense and fill up and start to wash. Wanted to see how much water was actually in machine so pushed button to unlock and it pumped all of the water out and had to start over. I will probably only use on NORMAL or Casual and allow twice as long to wash AND twice as long to dry. Worse machine I have had in 76 years. Think I could almost do laundry on old Maytag wringer and two wash tubs just as fast. At least I would know what it was actually doing!!! Hope I NEVER have to buy another one since I want agitator, top load, and this was supposedly the BEST CHOICE. It is like being asked if you want to be poked in your left eye or your right one -- either one isn't a good choice.

I love it

I asked the advice of someone who worked at Whirlpool for a very long time; this is the washer he recommended. I love that it is energy efficient and uses water sparingly. It isn't too fancy with needless buttons and it isn't/wasn't too expensive...It really cleans well, and it seems very large inside to me. It Does make funny noises including clicks - my pets are very wary stilll

Great washing machine!
from Southern California
I've had this several months now and am very pleased. I've read several reviews about this machine being too loud, however I haven't found that to be the case. The clicks and noises are different than my last machine, but not any louder.
Great choice of wash cycles.

I've had my new washer for a few weeks now. So far it's worked just fine and I haven't experienced any problems with it whatsoever. I am pleased with the way it cleans my clothes. I love the choice of wash cycles and the large capacity tub. I can do about 1.5 times as much laundry in one load as with my old machine. It sounds different than my old washer, but thankfully I read the instruction manual before I used the machine and knew that would be the case. If I had a choice to by this machine again right now I would.

I researched many brands before buying and am happy with my choice. The only improvement would be to work on how loud it is when running.

I can't tell u much since I just got it, one thing I do know it makes more noise than other washers that I had, I call, appliances that I buy now disposable sins nothing is made to last anymore. Iam a widow & I can't afford to,replace things every few years check back, with me in a year or so. I just don't have much faith in anything anymore

This machine has a nice large tub, it's quiet and the clothes come out nice and clean. It has several cycles for every laundry scenario. Love it !

I bought this washer about 2 months ago and I'm very happy with my purchase. I really like the features this washer has. I have never seen this features on other washers. I have been telling all my friends about it.
Washes cleaner than my last one

The process was simple to learn, very different from my last washer. Not certain I like the "locked door" procedure, but it is probably a good safety factor.

Clothes are clean. but the noise created by the washer during the cycle is loud and unpleasant.
