Comments about Bosch Tools Brushless Oscillating Kit L-Boxx-2:
The Bosch MXH180BL is a great advance in the multi-tool arena. While I have a corded model it was essential to be unrestrained. Fortunately the advancement in lithium batteries has come far in a few short year. With that benefit you have the same power as a corded tool. Another added bonus is the flush cut ability and easier than ever blade change. It does everything, sands, cuts and cuts again, actually used it to miter frame corners with a corner angle. If you do all kinds of projects this will be your constant go to tool, I can't recommend enough.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great work hog

I bought this tool about a year ago and have never been disappointed with it. I am a tile and stone contractor and use it constantly to undercut door casing, cut out grout to change tile and recently i had to cut back 3/4 inch thick mud on a wall to give clearance for a mirror and it went through it like butter. Ive used it to cut out sections of two xs for pipe clearance rather than drag out my skill and it had no problem with it. It is one tool i can't or won't do with out. I have the other two top brands of tools but i keep going back to my Bosch. I can't praise them enough. Keep up the good work guys. Dirk So.Calif.
This is a very nice tool.

This is a great tool that I find myself using more and more. The tool has a lot of power and the battery lasts a long time.
I am divorcing my beloved Fine Tool

I am divorcing my beloved Fine Tool, and I am running away with my new Bosch 18V Oscillating tool. I am a tradesmen, and the more I use the Bosch 18V Oscillating tool, the more my confidence in a battery tool replacing a corded tool grows. The Bosch tool-less blade holder blowwwws the Fine's away in easy of use, and no more release leaver slamming your fingers, and no more HOT plug landing in your hand. As with any continues running battery tool, the batteries don't last as long as a cordless driver, and one has to plan to have full size batteries on hand. I have two 3amp batteries, and I am finding that I have no down time waiting for batteries to charge. On a continues run, the charging battery is good to go, before the one in the tool is spent. But I would recommend the new 4amp batteries if your budget would allow, they are just that much better. Regarding performance. This unit performs just as good as my old corded Fine Tool. There is no lose in House Power what so ever going to 18V. The new brushless motor runs cool and the chip-set maintains your chosen speed, even under extreme load. The speed dial goes from a nice slow speed for genital work, to full extreme. There is no feeling that it's sitting the edge of it's power out put, lots of power in reserve. I didn't think much of the L-Boxx at first, but I'm starting to like it. Lots of room, and I like the extra handle on top. It's too bad their so pricey on their own. I might consider getting some more. In closing, I no longer see any reason outside of budget to get a corded multi tool. If your on the fence worrying that they might not do the job. Let me tell you, they can, to the level of impressive.

Great multi-tool. I put this to the test cutting subfloor out around a toilet and shower. I had extra batteries that allowed me to switch out and keep on going. This thing never skipped a beat and worked as hard as I could. Great tool.

So Far - Like A Boss - Like A Bosch
from In Any Old Structure That Needs Love
I had used the Bosch 12v cordless multi tool for years. It has been an excellent tool. I purchased the 18v brushless cordless multi tool a few months ago. It has done a great job so far - I use cordless versions because I use the tools on ladders and hard to reach places. The 18v is a powerful smooth running tool. And with a fully charged battery it runs for a long time. The quick change mechanism is a great design update. The new 18v seems to be as rugged and durable as the 12v version, which is outstanding. As an experienced multi tool user I recommend using Bosch blades; they are of higher quality and will last a lot longer than the ones that are $4 or $5 cheaper. The only flaw is the new case, I am not a fan of Boschs new storage system - thin plastic inserts never belong with professional tools.
I want this tool!

I have had the 12V Oscillating tool now for a few years and have been very happy with it. The only issues I've had are run time and now and then I wish for more power. But the tool itself I love! I am a remodeling contractor. So now I have no choice but to get the new brushless, 18V model! My only wish is that I can buy it in a kit with charger and 2 batteries! Will it be available in this format?
Bosch oscillating tool
I have had this tool now for 2 months, incredible performance. Have used it to sand an old oak door, to cutting off old nails on our deck. The battery has excellent run time. Every shop needs one of these tools. Excellent product.
