Very quick due to baytrail processor. The Windows 8.1 OS is very customizable using apps online (that don't use much memory): Apps that can bring back the START menu as seen in previous Windows versions; Apps to brighten the screen even more; etc. From my research and shopping around online, the T100 seems to give the most for the price you pay. Other systems that have only some minor extra features are almost double the price. The only setback I experienced in the beginning was the touchpad. It seemed to have a bit of a lag when you remove you fingers and then start using it again. Applying a little extra pressure seems to help. I have now gotten used to it.So far, I am very happy with the system.

Bought 2 - one for each of my teens - one was greatand the other not so much. Unfortunately had to return one because it kept freezing up and the display moved all over the place - definitely a touch-screen malfunction. Would give 5 stars for the one that works and 1 star for the one I returned - so averaged to 3. The one we kept we have had no problems with - it is a neat little computer that is great for students to use at school and for light work at home. A external mouse is definitely a requirement - much better than going by touch screen or on board mouse pad.

About Me Constant User Of Tech
Comments about Asus Transformer Book Touchscreen Laptop:
The Asus transformer book is useful, is lightweight and the battery seems to last long. However, is hard to make the keyboard work, is attached but still doesn't work sometimes, so I have to adjust it and works again.
Service and delivery comments:
delivery was fast, the day that was expected arrived to my home, product was in perfect condition

About Me Tech Savvy
Not really that good for anything, but not terrible. Keyboard is too small for doing real work (e.g., Excel), tablet keyboard is terrible, streaming video can stutter, but generally works fine to check email and browse the web.

About Me Not Tech Challenged
Use the product with Microsoft programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and with the Internet. These are all great.
Service was great. They are knowledgeable. They simply gave me a new one when I had problem with the keyboard two months after I got it and with the charger (won't charge - "plug in but not charging") on my replacement. However, I need to re-install the programs.

Great as tablet or laptop. I ride motorcycles a lot on my personal time. Needed a small device for RDP into work when on-call. The t100t works perfectly with cisco vpn for win8.1. Read some complaints about the display being too fuzzy, bc of low resolution. I completely disagree. This is a great deal with such a low price
I like my Asus Transformer Book

I like its small size. It is a little heavy. I tend to shut down (instead of sleep) to extend battery life. I am happy with it.

Delivery was on time and well-packaged. Customer Service was awesome, as it always is with ABT.
Great and Affordable
Researched the ASUS T100 versus the Surface and I'm really happy with the ASUS T100! Using it for personal and school use. Wonderful battery life. Thought I would detach keyboard and use it as a tablet more often, but the keyboard is small enough that it's not really necessary to detach. Having the dual views of a traditional desktop and an apps view is great. Excellent value - particularly with Office 2013 already loaded.
Exceeds my expectations

About Me Multimedia Professional
Real windows in a tablet setup is fantastic! Android is awesome but it is lacking in some areas and I still find myself tied to the windows environment. This product fills that void nicely, great battery life, bluetooth, USB OTG on the tablet as well as a full USB port on the dock, and the keyboard when I have to type at length (like now!) all make this a killer product. I still cant get over how much this does for how little it cost.
Fantastic - Worth every penny

I use the tablet for web browsing when sitting on the couch and then simply click it into the keyboard when I need to write a letter or create a spreadsheet.I have created some simple movies of the kids to send to Grandparents and it didnt have any problems.Connected automatically to my NAS and also the printer.I mentioned in the "cons" section that it is heavy. This is not a problem as it is either resting on a table or on my lap. It simply is heavier than I expected - but so is a bag of sugar and I dont carry that around all day!Love the flexibility, the power and the price.
