This is my first bottom freezer refridgerator. I needed the unit to fit into a specific place in my kitchen. I was checking measurements online and was convinced that the bottom freezer units only came in a very wide style. This unit fits perfectly. The upper refrigerator secton is very spacious and I love how wide it is. I can actually put deli trays in for parties and still have plenty of left over space. The compartments are all very sturdy and I love the small drawer under the crispers for my meats and cheeses. I am still getting used to bendng down for an ice cube for a glass of tea but overall I love this appliance. We are switching our kitchen to black appliances and this refridgerator is so pretty and shiny it is more like a piece of art. Unlike stainless, finger smudges wipe off easily. We hope the energy saving is good. It is much quieter than our last refridgerator. It's a perfect choice for me.

I replaced my microwave, range, dishwasher, and refreigeratior with Whirlpool products this August. My referigerator was delivered on September 18, 2015 after being on back order for one month. I like the style of the appliances and the fit and finish is very good. I like the French door style. This refrigerator was perfect for my needs. Spacious enough, easy to see all items, well lit, drawers move easily. I am still getting used to the freezer and trying to figure out the most efficient way to arrange items in it. All was going well until today, a Sunday. While cooking for the week, I noticed the refrigerator was running for a long time. I didn't give it too much thought because I was in and out of the kitchen and assumed it could have stopped running for a while. That is, until I opened the freezer compartment and was greeted by what looked like a scene from White Christmas. The entire freezer compartment was covered in frost/ice. Of course, being a Sunday there was no customer service available from Whirlpool, the small retailer from whom I purchased the appliances was closed, and the local Whirlpool service company was closed. All I could do was turn the freezer/refrigerator off for about 15 minutes in hopes to reset it, take out all my items to remove the frost/ice, wipe out the freezer compartment. The Refrigerator User Instructions booklet was not helpful. I cannot move the refrigerator to unplug it in hopes of perhaps resetting it because the instruction manual does not explain how to release the stoppers on the bottom of the unit to move it. I am hoping nothing is leaking under the refrigerator. As a single working person, this is an extreme inconvenience. I am a Whirlpool household (dehumidifier, air purifier, and washer/dryer) and selected Whirlpool because of the quality of its products. I am questioning Whirlpool's quality now. When a product performs like this in less than a month of use, there is a design or manufacuturing problem. During graduate school, I lived in housing that had what I would call low scale appliances and never had to call a landlord about a refrigerator problem. Even the less than $400 refrigerator that was in my condo when I bought it never gave me any problems over the last eleven years. But my brand new Whirlpool did. The jury is still out on how I would rate this product. Customer service and appliance performance over the next months will determine whether or not I recommend it or return it for another brand. By the way, the refrigerator is still running, six hours straight, but at least no new frost/ice for now.

Comments about Whirlpool Black French Door Bottom Freezer Refrigerator:
I love the new microwave, it cooks fast and has more buttons than I actually need. But I am learning so much about the settings. I love the extra large capacity and the option for the turn table.

I switched brands from Kenmore to Whirlpool because of too many issues with Kenmore.
Nice kitchen addition

Just purchased this about a month ago when my other Whirlpool microwave quit. I wanted to stay with a Whirlpool to match my other kitchen appliances. So far I am very pleased with the performance and ease of using this microwave. It has more features than my original one that came new with my house and is very quiet.

33 INCH WIDE FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR CUSTOMER REVIEW
By Kitty Kat

Okay, so where do I begin? Some back story first:I transitioned from an 18 year old traditional, white, top freezer refrigerator to a 21st century double door bottom freezer appliance. Positives: excellent lighting with placement of all refrigerator items at eye height. Sturdy construction of shelves and interior door compartments/storage units. Accu-chill system keeps temperatures steady. Noiseless operation. Generous ice cube capacity. Attractively designed.BUT..........overall there is NOT nearly enough space for me. I tend to use my refrigerator in a "storage capacity" as well as immediate need. There is NO ROOM to accomplish this as I am used to doing. Door units are not large enough. The interior space filled up too quickly for me without the benefit of being able to store everything I could in the old refrigerator. This includes the freezer.Granted I had to chose a unit to conform to the space and perhaps would have had the same constraints with any unit which I purchased. Looking at the unit empty in the store created the impression of tremendous space. Now at home, that is not the case. I am also not the type of person who likes to conform to a structure I prefer rather to choose a structure to work for me, my needs and the way that I use things. I thought that is what I was doing in purchasing this refrigerator.I'm also not a big fan of change so I have, grumblingly done some adjusting to be able to co-exist with this new appliance. Hopefully another of my reasons for purchasing a Whirlpool appliance was/is the fact that it is largely made in U.S.A. which helps our manufacturing base . I do hope that Whirlpool craftsmanship and reliability don't disappoint me.
It fit through my door when the G.E. didn't
from Grosse Pointe, MI
It is so easy to see everything that is in the fridge. I just wished I could have gotten one that had water and ice in the door and would fit through the doors in my house. My house was built in 1935 and the doorways apparently are narrower than what they build today.
Art of the possible!

We bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago. With the french doors open, your items are quickly in sight and easy to access. The freezer below is simple to organize and the ice maker dispenses perfect ice!
