This drill will NOT die!
from Brossard, QC, Canada
Comments about Bosch Tools 1/2" High-Torque Drill:
I am a tile setter and use this drill to mix thinset mortar, mortar bed mixes, leveling products, etc...I have been using this drill for 13 years and have only changed the brushed twice and the trigger twice. This is amazing considering I have mixed thousands of bags of mortar and other cement products. It may be small and lightweight, but it's tough, really tough! Will buy again IF ever this one dies.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Has the power I need to do the job
from San Diego, CA, United States
I needed to lift several 115-pound cabinets up to 7 feet above my garage floor and hold them in place while I secured them, so I built my own scissors lift with a 1" threaded rod screw drive. Not wanting to take "forever" to crank the lift up with a ratchet wrench, and finding that my cordless drill was not up to the task, I researched driver/drills to find one with enough torque. The Bosch has the power to enthusiastically raise the lift from 3.5 feet to 7 feet with a cabinet on it in well under a minute. I have also used the Bosch drill/driver to drive 1/4" x 8" bolts into pre-drilled holes -- another job it does well.
Bosch drill will get the job done
from Chesterfield, VA
I have used Bosch's high torque drill on every remodeling job that I have been on for 4 years. It gets the job done fast. I will definitely buy more Bosch products in the future. Mike
Best Corded Drill
from Albany, GA
The electrical company I work for has tried many drills over the years, Dewalt, Makita, and others as we drill through concrete and cut many holes in steel panels. This is the best drill in my opinion and the bits from Bosch are of the best quality. We have had this drill longer than some others that have either broken or need parts. I have finally talked my employer into always buying Bosch as he is big on buying whats own sale at the time but I think now he see's that this doesn't always save him money.
Good speed control, lots of torque, not fast
Purchased for use as a drill and driver to be capable of both tough/big and small/fine work. I have used it for hanging curtain rods (pilot hole and small screw) to boring large holes. Works great for both (although a bit heavy for the curtain rod work). Design and construction look great. Will chuck a 1/16 inch bit (which some other brands will not) and has good low speed trigger speed control for the fine work. Doesn't run fast, but almost any other drill can do that. Cord length is great and is an excellent tool to date. A bit pricy, but does the job better than anything else I could find.
Man sized drill for the job

I've used many different makes of drills and own three different makes now. The Bosch's would be my favorite. Nothing is better then a 1/2" chuck for any drill , but Bosch's chuck has proven to me that it can resist torch walbul. I have taken many of drills and reduced them to walbling sloppy drillers. The Bosch 1/2" torque drill is my best drill. It's balance makes your hand more comfortable with less fatigue even after hours of working with this tough beauty. I've used it like a hammer drill, Used it to bore larger holes where I did not have a larger bite to do the job. This drill has even been used as a tire stop. Forgot that I put it by the rear tire to keep it safe, and at the end of the day tried to reverse the car and ran over it. Thought it would have broken, to my surprize not even a scratch.Have put hundred of hours on this tool and it still works great.
