Very rugged tool
from Holland, IN
Comments about Bosch Tools 10" Dual-Bevel Glide Miter Saw:
My wife let me get this saw which in itself is fantastic. I actually had two other miter saws before this one, and returned them to the store. The first saw was to limited, and I would not be able to cut certain pieces of wood. The second saw was very poor for checking correct angle or bevel, back it went. Yes, I had to pay more for the Bosch, but everything was easier to deal with for checking the accuracy of the saw. Plus, a much greater diversity of wood widths can be accomplished with the saw. One issue is the weight.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Extraordinarily designed and built tool.
from Orinda, CA
About Me Professional
Out of the box it was perfectly aligned. On day one we cut 24 2 x 10 rafters plus the barge rafters. Once set up, it went very fast. Then a shift to some moldings and trim and again, the cuts were perfect, smooth. The slide mechanism is hands down better than any that I have used in my more than 40 years in construction. This is an excellent tool and is worth the premium price. I do recommend the Bosch stand. We had a miter saw stand from another mfr. The Bosh stand is more robust and makes set up quite easy. It seems that the designs and engineering that went into this tool resulted in a surprisingly easy tool to use with very confident results. I could not recommend this tool more strongly.

Every thing was fine.
Space saving shop saw.
from New Hampshire, United States
I have a small shop and the space saving behind the saw is a big plus. My previous chop saw table stuck way out into the work area. The saw is very accurate. I added the Bosch laser option and after some use have come to trust its accuracy.

I just recently upgraded to this saw from my sliding compound miter saw - WOW ... I am glad I did . This saw is nothing short of spectacular !! The accuracy of the cuts is dead on accurate .. The " gliding " feature is smooth as butter - if you are serious about quality tools for a quality project - this saw is what you need - I assure you ... You will not be disappointed .

4310 Dual-Bevel Slide Mitre Saw
from Oro Station, ON, Canada
I am not a contractor, however using my Dual-Bevel Slide Mitre Saw 4310 helped me to finish a challenging job giving me a beautiful result on my wood stair treads and trim moulding. The saw cut effortlessly and was easy to adjust the angles and cuts as needed. I love the ease and control of this saw. I would highly recommend it, as my friend now wants to use mine as he is not happy with the retail brand that he purchased.
Do not like the safety ...
Do not like the safety switch on handle. It doesn't work well for thumb the way that it is positioned. All other parts seem to be accurate. The Blade that came with the blade has tear out.
I've had this saw about one year, and am very happy with it. Very easy to transport, very smooth to operate, cuts great, and as a bonus, takes up very limited space on the tool bench.
CM10GD Most accurate miters cuts
I have been using the saw for about 6 months, cuts perfect miters, great clearance for large lumber. Very solid and love the forward bevel adjust/lock. Saw dust collection is not great and somewhat heavy. I have mine on a Bosch folding cart with wheels.
from Madison, GA, United States
I purchased this saw, along with a T4B stand, in the spring of 2015 for the installation phase of my cabinetry business. This is an excellent site saw when used in conjunction with the gravity stand, as it is easy to load, unload, and set up single-handed. The dual bevel comes in quite handy for miters on baseboards, and wide apron molding under crown. The motion of the articulating glide is fluid on crosscuts and miters, though with bevels the operator needs to be attentive to keeping even pressure on the handle to keep the cut straight. The safety button is aggravating when one is trying to raise the guard slightly to sight the blade to the cut mark on the work. It is impossible to sight and start the saw, as the thumb must release the guard to depress the safety. The slots in the guard aren't sufficient for sighting with the guard in the down position. All of the other features of the saw are very user-friendly. We believe it was definitely a good investment, and highly recommend this product.
