I love my LG dishwasher, it has been a wonderful upgrade from prior GE Profile. The LG, can't be heard when running, in any cycle. I have used them all to test, so very happy with this, and notification bell when complete. The 3rd row is great, I wasn't sure if really needed, but I place all travel mug lids, tupper wear lids, and smaller items, and they remail in tack completely, no more falling to bottom and melting on the heating element. The top rack being adjustable has been an other added bonus, I cook a lot so to be able to place large pots, casserole dishes and such and be able to lift the top rack to adjust is just amazing. the bottom rack as the adjustable tines that will lay down so you can transform the bottom rack to hold any size item in position to maximize cleaning, and it remains in place, which is again wonderful considering glass items no longer are placed on their side and hold water in them, so when you get to putting it up you have a water line on the glassware. My wine glasses come out beautifully. The touch pad which is hidden when the dishwasher is closed is great as well, plus it notifies you when rinse aid is low, and shows clearly the cycle you are using and what is being brought into play while using this cycle. We love LG, and as the appliances are going in our house we are replacing them all with LG. I do hope this helps.

We've used this dishwasher for about 2 months and it works OK. Some issues: - the lower drawer does not always roll back in smoothly, it seems to fall off its track and/or hit the side wall. It can be difficult to get back on track when fully loaded. - it often does not dry dishes thoroughly, especially items on the upper most rack. - rinse agent does not always seem to work, adding extra rinse cycle seems to help. - very long run times, 2.5 to 4 hours depending on options selected. Adjustments on drawers are sensitive, but useful for managing different dish sizes. It is very quiet and cleans up nice (for stainless). We've been very happy with other LG appliances, but this one does not measure up to their refrigerators or laundry products.

OMG! So Quiet.

Comments about LG 24" Fully Integrated Built-In Stainless Steel Dishwasher:
Our kitchen has a peninsula that is open to the family room. The dishwasher is in the peninsula which isn't insulated on the side facing the family room. Every dishwasher we've had has been so noisy that we had to run it at night. THIS dishwasher is so quiet. It's running right now and I can barely hear it. The stainless steel is very beautiful. The only thing I don't like is that there isn't an indicator that tells others that the dishwasher has clean dishes in it. I'm forced to put a magnetic "C" (for clean) on the dishwasher to indicate it's time to empty.

One problem with this dishwasher
from Crest Hill, Illinois, United States
We purchased this dishwasher from in December. The store that we purchased it from did this model working on the floor. The dishwasher is great except that the control panel does not light making the cycle buttons virtually impossible to see in any lighting conditions. I believe LG should offer or provide a lighting kit so consumers actually can see the cycle function button without referring to the manual. Without the needed lighting I can not recommend this product to a friend. I also can not say it's easy to use or that the features are excellent !
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Could be better
from Clermont, FL, United States
We bought this as a replacement and in the store they said all the function lights lit. Not true. Power lights up, but in any shadow, it's difficult to read the selections. Also, the cycles take forever. Normal was is almost 2 hours, and it didn't seem to do that great of a job. Adequate, but not great. Maybe the next level up would be better, but the cost was high to begin with.

We have an open floorplan and were looking for a quiet dishwasher that does a great job with dishes. I don't want to have to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, and this dishwasher delivers! It is effective and unbelievably quiet. We also love the additional 3rd drawer, the ability to adjust the tines to fit whatever we throw in, and the headroom for taller pans. Finally, it is great to be able to put plastic in the bottom drawer. The one minor drawback is that we always have to add extra time by using the extra dry cycle, when putting plastics in. Otherwise, they come out wet.
Bottom Rack Issues and Poor Cleaning
from Clearwater, FL, United States
The bottom rack keeps jumping its track and is difficult to re-align (at least once per week with daily use). When I pull out the rack to load dishes, the bottom rack frequently jumps off its track and it does not re-align easily to be pushed into the unit. Also, the flip up utensil basket keeps falling apart (separating into its 3 pieces). Cheaply constructed. It is a waste of space and material. The glasses developed a film on them and following instruction manual to use 160 degree heating and change detergent and rinse agent volume did not help.
So much room

I love this dishwasher. There is so much space and it's easily adjustable and very quiet. The knife rack is fantastic for small utensils.

Dishes won't stand up
from Colorado springs
We have owned the dishwasher for 7 months. I wish I could return it because the bottom rack is disfunctional. Like others who reviewed this dishwasher, the bottom rack is too flimsy, the spaces between the racks are too far apart causing the dishes to fall every time you slide the draw; constantly causing a repositioning of the dishes. This is a deal breaker for me even if all the othe features work as advertised.
Bottom shelf will NOT stay on the tracks
I bought this about 2 months ago. It looks nice and cleans well. But, I didn't heed the warnings about the poor design of the rollers/rails on the lower rack. I don't see how in the world this product passed QA with dishes loaded into the dishwasher. The probability of successfully pushing in the loaded rack is less than a 50% chance. It is probably closer to 25% - 30% probability of success. Shocking! I literally have to straddle the machine and pick up the rack to align it back on the rails. Is that something you want to do daily? LG - please send parts to fix this. Isn't is as easy as extending the base of the wheels so that it stays on the rails? This is crazy.
Quitest appliance I have ever owned.

I purchased this dishwasher December 20th and got it installed January 3.
Quiet, but has drawbacks
from Jacksonville, Fl
Wonderfully quiet (my primary criteria when shopping) and cleans well, however, the settings are practically invisible (medium gray on slightly darker gray). It's great that the trays are removable, but they are so flimsy that the slightest movement knocks them off their track. It does not dry AT ALL, even using Extra Dry setting (had to use manual to find which place to press). Once I left clean dishes in machine while I left for a week's vacation. Came back to dripping wet dishes. I understand it is sealed tight to keep in noise, and the moisture can't escape, but there HAS to be some better solution. Also, settings often don't respond to pressure. Very frustrating.
