So far this dishwasher is awesome. It cleans much, much better than my old dishwasher. Having it in my home for a little while now, I can say that almost every negative review I've read on this is a very simple fix. That's what directions are for :-)1. Make sure all of the packaging is out of the dishwasher (ESPECIALLY anything securing the Waterwall arm on the bottom).2. Use a rinse aid to help dry dishes (non-heated dryers take a little longer, but save energy) and use the Dry+ option. NO dishwasher drys plastic well, especially if it has a lip.3. If the door won't close, it is probably because the middle rack isn't alignied (in the up or down position). This can prevent the door from closing). It's a simple fix!

Yes, this dishwasher is super quiet. That's where the good points end. THIS DISHWASHER IS NOT DESIGNED TO DRY DISHES! Crazy, right? It's correct, there's no heating element so the dishes are soaked after a cycle, even using rinse aid & the Dry+ button. I was sure this had to be incorrect, but it is designed that way. Had I been told by the sales associate, I never would have purchased it to begin w/. I like my dishes to end up dry, that's the beauty of a dishwasher in my opinion. I thought the top tray for silverware was clever, but it takes up too much space & I couldn't fit my dishes. My plates are too tall for the bottom rack, they're just average sized plates. The spinner that cleans can't spin, so my dishes aren't getting clean. The middle rack is adjustable so I thought moving it up was the solution. Wrong! Then my drinking glasses wouldn't fit. Again, normal sized glasses. Thank goodness the store is exchanging this for me. I love Samsung products, but this is a dud.

Comments about Samsung 24" Built In Waterwall Stainless Steel Dishwasher:
I have had this dishwasher since July 2014. Overall I am disappointed with it given how expensive it was. I rate it average at best in cleaning. It IS very quiet I'll give you that much. I have had repair issues twice since I bought it. Once it wasn't draining water and now it doesn't cycle completely, shuts off after about 15-20 minutes. I am very disappointed in this over priced dishwasher.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Barely know it's on. I like the way it is almost invisible with the cabinets.

LOVE THE FEATURES

Amazing dishwasher EVER. The waterwall seriously does make a difference
Slow, doesn't clean dishes, broke after 6 months
The only good thing to be said about this dishwasher is that it's quiet, and has a clean look. Unfortunately, after another brand that we finally replaced after about 15 years of use, it's very disappointing in terms of ease of stacking, and its ability to clean dishes. Water doesn't successfully reach the edges / corners of the dishwasher, which I thought was the point of the WaterWall? Now it appears (code LE) to have a leak of some kind and it won't run. Fortunately it's still under warranty - we'll see what the service experience is like.
WHISPER QUIET, BUT LEAKS
from Los Angeles, CA, USA
The design and features on this dishwasher are amazing, and it was whisper quiet when it was running, for about the first two weeks. We got a code which indicated a leak. We put in a claim with our home owner warranty, and it took them almost two months to get the parts to fix it. The leak was repaired, but from that point on, the front panel never closed properly. Steam would leak out all around the edges of the front of the dishwasher, creating condensation under our counter tops, and would ultimately drip onto our ceramic, tiled floor. The moisture caused tiles to come loose and chip. The beautiful design and the whisper-quiet while running were not enough for us to keep this dish washer. I think the design for a hard closure (maybe a lever like the old ones?) would make this a better washer, but that would ruin the aesthetic of this piece. Sorry, but I would not buy this design again.
Experiencing Leaking, Error Code and Streaking within First Month of Use
from Philadelphia, PA, USA
My beautiful Chefs Collection Dishwasher was installed in November 2014. The unit has the look and feel I desire in a dishwasher. Solid with Clean Lines. Unfortunately, it has leaked onto my hardwood floors 3 times. On the 1st leak the unit displayed an LE error code. The leak appears to be coming from the the top of the unit near the handle. After the first leak, I called to have the unit serviced. A certified repair person promptly came to my home and tested the unit. It appeared to work fine during the repair call. I used the unit again and it worked fine the same day. The following day , the unit leaked again from the same location near the handle. This instance the error code did not appear. I tried the unit another time , and, again it leaked from the top of the unit. I cannot trust the unit to run unless I am watching it. The normal cycle takes 2 hours and 38 minutes so this unit is not working for me. Additionally, each time I have used the dishwasher, the dishes have come out streaked even when using a rinse agent. I am really disappointed because I really like the unit. It did not meet my expectations to basically have clean dishes and not ruin my hardwood floors. Not asking for too much. I have a Samsung 55 inch smart tv (4 years old), Samsung refrigerator (7 years old) and Samsung washer and dryer (4 years old) and have had no problems with any of them which influenced my decision to go with the Samsung Chefs Collection dishwasher.
Cleans great if everything is perfect
from Pearl, MS, USA
The door does not latch shut and the top rack will prevent the door from sealing if not perfectly positioned. Other dishwashers I have owned had levers to pull the door in tight. When the door does not seal correctly it will leak. The dishwasher has a leak detector and will shut off and try draining. Then you have to turn the breaker off to the dishwasher for about 24 hours for it to reset. It cleans better then any dishwasher I have ever owned when everything is perfect.
This product is really great with many quality features.

I was kind of confused with operating this dishwasher, but after a little of searching thru youtube I finally become quite comfortable in operating the dishwasher I am quite pleased with it and woujld recommend it .
I do not recommend this dishwasher
We have requested service 4 times in the 5 months we've had this dishwasher. The drawers are poorly made, and the door will not stay closed during the cycle. I was told by the repairman that I was not closing the drawer properly? It's extremely frustrating. I wish they would take it back so I could buy a better quality product.
Not a good value
from Fishers, IN
After having this dishwasher for 4 months, I'm not impressed with it. Samsung commercials claim the "Water Wall" cleans better however, it is does not clean very well at all. We have to rinse the dishes and silverware before placing them in the dishwasher in order for them to come out clean. I just recently had a problem with leakage that I learned from the service technician is a manufacturer defect. We also had a problem with keeping the door closed. The poor door latch design causes the door to not be closed all the way if the racks aren't pushed back entirely. The result is leaking water around the door and increased sound. When I first bought it, this dishwasher was very quiet. However, ever since it was repaired, it has leaked and been loud. After 4 months, we're now looking for another new dishwasher because this one can't seemed to be repaired.
