Samsung 16.3MP Smart Black Digital Camera - WB350FBK

The Samsung WB350 Smart Camera's powerful 21x optical zoom brings you closer to your subject and its easy sharing capabilities bring you closer to the rest of the world. With its 21x optical zoom and 23mm wide-angle lens, you’ll be able to capture powerful images.

Key Features:

  • Shoot and Share Effortlessly in a Zoom with Samsung WB350 Smart Camera
  • Samsung Link Allows Seamless Sharing and Playback Across all Devices
  • Remotely Control Your Camera from a Smartphone or Tablet

Features:

  • 16.3MP BSI CMOS sensor
There are times you don't want to use a flash, like when you want to capture special moments indoors without disturbing others around you. The 16.3-megapixel BSI (backside-illuminated) CMOS sensor needs less light than conventional sensors, so you can capture properly exposed images without a flash. There’s also Low Light Shot mode, which merges three continuous shots into one clear photo.
  • 3.0" TFT LCD Hybrid Touch Screen
The Hybrid Touch User Interface offers two options: use the 5-way button to quickly move the cursor up, down, left and right to intuitively navigate the menu and make selections on the 3.0” TFT LCD screen. Alternately, when you want to enter text, simply input the characters on the touch screen, much like you would on a smartphone. Navigating controls and sharing images couldn’t be easier
  • 21x Optical Zoom, 23mm Wide Angle
From up close or far away, preserve the moment exactly how you want to remember it. Capture a spectacular mural that takes up the entire side of a building-or a field of colorful wildflowers that seems to stretch for miles-with the 23mm wide-angle lens. When you can’t get physically closer to your subject, the 21x optical zoom lets you capture every sharp detail.
  • Wi-Fi
NFC and Wi-Fi enabled features like Photo Beam, AutoShare, Remote Viewfinder and Mobile Link let you share images to compatible smart devices right next to you or on the other side of the world. Photo Beam easily sends any photo that you’re viewing to a smart device instantly. AutoShare saves photos to your smart device as you shoot and allows you to effortlessly post photos to social networks, store them on the cloud, and back them up to your PC. You can also monitor a sleeping baby from another room.
  • Wi-Fi Social Sharing
Show off a fabulous selfie with the rest of the world in no time flat. As long as you have a Wi-Fi connection, you can post images and videos directly to Facebook, YouTube, and now Flickr. Tag and add comments, too. You can also upload photos right to your blog, or email them to your family. Feel free to keep shooting, because your Smart Camera also comes with 2GB of free Dropbox web storage or 50GB if you have a GALAXY smartphone
  • Autoshare
Save every photo you take with your smartphone. After you set it up, Samsung AutoShare will automatically send every snap instantly to your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi that is powered by NFC technology. Using your smartphone, AutoShare also GPS- tags your photos. Sharing your treasured memories couldn’t be any faster-or easier.
  • Samsung Link
Effortlessly save every moment you’ve captured. Samsung Link instantly and wirelessly streams your photos your PC or favorite web storage service such as Dropbox. No more waiting to go home to manually upload images. With one touch, you can show off photos and videos on your Smart TV or send them to any compatible smartphone. Sharing has never been this easy.
  • Photo Beam
When a friend wants a copy of that really great shot you took of her, now you can share it right away. Samsung Photo Beam lets you send photos to anybody with just the touch of your camera. Simply tap your SMART CAMERA on any NFC-compatible smartphone to automatically share whichever image you’re currently viewing. It’s that simple.
  • PC Auto Backup
Wirelessly transfer photos and movies to your PC or Mac. Simply select PC Auto Backup and you're all set. All your photos and videos are wirelessly transferred and safely stored on your computer. Feel free to delete photos from your camera knowing there's a duplicate set on your computer.
  • Mobile Link
Now you can select and send photos or albums directly to a smartphone or tablet with Samsung Mobile Link. No Wi-Fi hotspot is required; the wireless connection is enabled by NFC technology. You don't even have to send the photos as a text message or an email. With Mobile Link, you can control the album on your phone and the changes will be saved to your camera, too.
  • Wi-Fi Group Share
From family brunches to nights out with friends, you can share all of the shots that your friends and family members want with your Samsung Smart Camera. Use Group Share to send images to up to four people simultaneously. Group Share eliminates the frustration of having to repeat the sharing process over and over again, so you will have more time for taking share-worthy snaps.
  • Wi-Fi Baby Monitor
Download the Home Monitor app from the App Store or Google Play to your smartphone or tablet, and place the camera near your baby to watch your sleeping baby from another room. When the camera detects crying, or even small movements, it sends an alarm to your smartphone or tablet, so you can decide if your child needs attention.
  • Remote View Finder
Control your camera by using your smartphone as the viewfinder. The NFC-enabled Remote Viewfinder lets you preview photos, adjust camera settings, zoom in and out, and frame each scene-all wirelessly from your phone. Available for select smartphones, this feature also GPS-tags your photos using your smartphone.
  • Smart Mode
A quick tap on the Smart Mode and you’re set with various features. Capture perfect trails of light at night on a busy intersection full of red taillights or instantly capture a high-speed scene with Action Freeze. Let Rich Tone create extraordinarily surrealistic photos with vibrant colors.
  • Retro Modern Design
Inspired from the simplicity of vintage camera design and built from state-of-the-art innovation, the retro and modern silhouette of the Samsung WB350 Smart Camera impresses with elegant, flowing lines and a luxurious, leather-like textured feel. Its compact and lightweight body makes it great for easy-on-the-go shooting, and with five colors to choose from, you can pick the one that matches your style the best.

I just received the Samsung WP350 for my birthday and so far I just love it. I'm still going thru the manual and have just figured out how to download photos from my Samsung Gallaxy III to the new camera and then to my computer. Such a great feature! I decided that I needed a camera other than the camera in my phone because I like to take zoom photos in low light while filming concerts and this particular model has a lot better capabilities for doing that than my phone....the one downside is that I received the camera as a gift while I was out of town--it didn't come with a manual and I had to wait until I came home to download and print the manual to learn how to use it. I think you should be able to order a printed manual IF you want one instead of having to copy 172 pages. If there is a way to order a pre-printed manual and I don't know it yet, then this is the best camera out there!! Thanks!!

Samsung WB350F White 1) Upon arrival, it got "codec" errors every time I tried to record a video. Live Chatted w/ support, they were very helpful at stepping through their flowchart, finally arriving at the "download firmware" bullet. I did, it worked. On the positive side, the firmware re-load went easier than I expected. 2) This may sound trite to some, but how do you hold the silly camera? The right hand grip is fairly intuitive, but the left hand? No matter how you grip the thing, you risk interfering with something: flash pop-up, focus light, lens, whatever. The 172 page manual (subject for another day) does not have a single photo or illustration of someone holding the camera ready to shoot. I emailed support, they referred me to a page in the manual that had nothing to do with the issue, nor did any page in the whole manual that I could find. 3) Then there is the manual. What comes in the box is a "quick start" pamphlet. If you want a hard copy manual, you have to print it out yourself. All 172 pages of it. Formatted in a way that is not very printer friendly. OK, so everyone is supposed to LOVE pdf manuals. NOT. 4) The placement of the micro SD card is BAD. Three times now I have accidentally ejected the card with such force that it shot over my shoulder and landed behind me. Almost like looking for a lost contact in the middle of a Bluegrass jam session. (You'd think I would learn, but really?... ) The way the card is positioned, when you reach in to replace the battery (you have to flip down a little gate) your thumb nail lines up perfectly with the SD card, CLICK, and there it went, zooming past your ear. Not a problem you say? It is. What if you are finished taking this group of photos and just want to put in a fresh battery and move on to the next jam? You might not know your microSD is missing (including all of your recent photos and recordings) until you come up on that next wild "parking lot pickin' session". Or worse, try to find one of those babies in grass or mud. Yeah. 5) I wish it had an honest-to-goodness lens cap. The shutter-like automatic thingy does not look very rugged NOR protective. 6) I found I spent more time figuring out what to ignore on the various screens and menus than learning what to use. And if a month or so goes by and I don't use it, I'll have to re-learn most of it. It would be really nice if you could HIDE/UNHIDE a lot of the stuff you don't plan to use. What percentage of users do you think will actually ever take a photo in those more geeky modes? Betcha 85% NEVER go out of AUTO. So after all of that, why do I like the thing? So far, it looks like a pretty nice camera, and I especially like being able to change batts and have the date/time settings stick.. The photos and videos seem good. Haven't had a chance to check video sound quality yet.... I hope it is good, cause I run into some really HOT pickers at Bluegrass festivals.

I bought this camera because I photograph my dogs a lot. I have 3, and invariably one of them is not looking at the camera. I specifically looked for the continuous burst mode, and this really delivers. I took the camera with me hiking, and even dropped it, and it was fine. Easy to change from one mode to the other, I usually use the auto function. I got GREAT pics of my dogs on the hike, beautiful macro shot of a vinca flower, panoramic shots in a cave, and scenery shots. I couldn't be more pleased with both the camera and the price. Took great action shots, and the zoom pics I took weren't blurry at all. I wanted to upload pics, but everything was too big! :(

The camera comes without any memory so you cannot practice with it to learn its features until you order memory. I also ordered two backup batteries using the specified proper batteries. These Samsung batteries having the correct designation would not fit into the camera. I had to return the batteries. This is not the way to create a happy consumer. The camera came without any instructions. I finally found some instructions online and I had to download 172 page document that made little sense to me and was not useful. After my great experience with Samsung smart televisions I cannot believe my camera experience was with the same company.

I am still learning how to use this camera. It is amazing that a camera of this size has so many features found in larger more expensive smart cameras. I am very pleased.

Great value for the dollar. Absolutely easy to use and small enough to take anywhere but powerful enough to take some great pictures and the wifi capability makes it an absolutely must have.
