Dyson AM07 Air Multiplier Black Bladeless Tower Fan - 300906-01
To make fans work quietly, manufacturers use slow-running motors to spin the
blades. This reduces noise but also reduces power, producing weak airflow. To
make powerful fans, they use fast motors to spin the blades.
But fast motors create more noise. Powerful and quiet is very difficult to
achieve in a conventional fan. The new Dyson Cool™ AM07 tower fans have
been engineered to be quieter, consume less energy and have streamlined air
channels for reduced airflow turbulence to be 60% quieter than AM02 – yet
generate powerful airflow.
- 60% Quieter
Streamlined air channels for reduced airflow turbulence make AM07 60% quieter
than AM02. A Helmholtz cavity captures and dissipates audible motor noise.
- 10% less power consumed
A brushless DC motor has been engineer to create powerful airflow using less
power than AM02. An aerodynamic diffuser separates airflow into controlled
path, creating a more efficient journey to the loop.
- Air Multiplier™ technologySafe
Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, drawing in surrounding air
to project smooth, powerful, high-velocity airflow. No blades. No choppy air.
- Safe and easy to clean
No fast spinning blades or awkward grilles.
- Sleep Timer
Fan can be programmed to turn off after preset intervals ranging from 15 minutes
to 9 hours.
- Oscillation control and touch tilt
Airflow can be directed around a room - an independent motor drives smooth
- Remote control
With 10 precise airflow settings. Curved and magnetized to store neatly on

*Assumes up to 6% savings in air conditioning costs for every degree Fahrenheit
that thermostat is raised. (See U.S. EPA and D.O.E. Energy Savings Calculator).
Also assumes elevated air speed may offset increase in air temperature by up
to five degrees (See ASHRAE Standard 55-2004-Thermal Environmental Conditions
for Human Occupancy). Air multiplier must be used in conjunction with and in
close proximity to air conditioning ventilation output in each room to recognize
savings benefit. Actual savings may vary based on use and other factors.
