Comments about Bosch Tools Five-Point Self Leveling Alignment Laser with Cross-Line:
Bought this laser about half a year ago to upgrade from my older bosch. But this new laser has horrible visibility for Wat I use it for. The lines r barely visible so I actually ha ha switch back to my old one. Am I the only one with this problem??
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The base spinning around allows east plumbing, A way to attach it to a wall would be nice

This is my second laser because the first one the top portion of the unit stopped working after one day of use. Not having any attachments does make the unit limited. When using the laser in cabinet installation it is very helpful to have both lines.

I have been happy with this laser, just wish it was easier to mark underneath it.
Missing much needed parts.
I will agree with the other review that this unit should come with a magnetic wall attachment. I am ok with the case that was provided with the unit, the soft cover holder. I was very close to getting a unit from the "yellow" competition, a unit they just put out. It was a fair bit less, came in a plastic case and a magnetic wall mount that had some great features. In the end their unit didnt have a lock out when the unit was shut off and many reviews stated that this lack of a laser lock in transport did put the unit out of calibration often. In the end I did go with this unit as I have most of my tools from bosch and they have done me well in the past. I used this unit on a commercial finishing job on a grocery store and found it to work well. I was expecting the line to be brighter and more visable, I had to move it down the wall more often then I figured I would have to. All in all it performed as well as I figured it should have and its done me well in jobs since. I do see a trend from bosch that I can say Im not a fan of and that is them not including attachments with the new products that people expect to get. The wall mount is this example with this tool. I recently got one of the new router combo units and found the same trend, no template guides, cone, guide rail. What makes this lack of attachments with the original product even worse is I can find these much needed parts where the tools are sold. I live in a large city with many many retailers and no one carries these attachments they have to be ordered in and cost more then they should....Please bosch go back to your old ways and stop cheeping out....
To be fair I don't own this laser. I do have other Bosch tools 2 GCM12sd glide miter saws, several laser distance measures, and jig saws. I've found Bosch tools to be well built and a good value. This is exactly why I cannot understand why you would choose to be the "only" company to market your product without even a simple magnetic mount. This reason alone has taken this laser out of my selection. ALL the other lasers come with a magnetic type mount and a ceiling grid clip. They are also aware of the rough and tumble world of construction sites and come with a plastic protective case that holds the sensitive laser and the mounts. Seems like there was a lack of thought here and rush for profits.
Great Product for the $$$$$

I purchased this product while laying out some wire shelving in a closet. It worked great except for the fact there was no way to mount in anywhere. It does have a threaded hole in the bottom for a tripod mount where i took the tripod from my camera and used. This worked out great and kept in steady.
