Made several calls to support for help with internet connection via wireless router. After several trial and error procedures, was told that I needed the latest software version (USB stick was mailed to me). Went through another round of trial and error procedures. Automatically generated MAC address, IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway numbers but DNS Server were zeroes. Was told to call my router provider -- who couldn't help me because I couldn't remember my password and other changes I made when router was installed. Then I remembered that in one of my phone calls to Samsung support, I was told to manually input 8888 for the DNS Server . I wrote down the automatically generated numbers for MAC address, IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway number and manually inputted them, as well as manually input 8888 for the DNS Server number -- and finally was successful in getting internet connection via wireless router.

I got this for Christmas in 2015. I didn't really use it because I was still living at home and I didn't spend much time in my bedroom where my TV was. I started using it when I moved in with my girlfriend in September of 2016. The first issue was that none of the apps, but Netflix worked. Every time I tried to go on any other app the screen would just go black and it wouldn't load. Noticed some problems that would happen like I wouldn't be able to turn it on, or the picture wouldn't go to the screen, switched out my HDMI cord, still issues. I lived with that. Then on 11/02/2016 a new software update came through, I now cannot connect to the internet. I can connect to the internet on everything else. I tried a hard and soft reset, unplugging the router, unplugging the blu-ray player, nothing worked. Also, I HATE how you can't tell if it is on or not because there is no light on it. I think they should add more apps that you can download, for example on my xbox I can download HBO, MTV, etc. I cannot do that on this, and it makes me sad. If you're looking to buy this DO NOT. READ REVIEWS IT IS NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!

Good Blu-Ray Player
My only complaint is that there is no light indicating the player is on/off.

This model has no light letting you know wether its on or in standby mode.
Great system for the price. Easy set up. Just could use a power light for on/off.

I like this product. except I haven't figured out how to get all the apps it claims to have. Also, it turns itself back on when I shut it off. I gave up and leave it on. Any one else have this issue?

I like how it has wifi to watch Netflix and support multiple codecs to watch movies on my hard drive. It supports NTFS volumes unlike most products
So disappointed in Samsung. Bought this as a family present for Christmas based on the websites description that is does play 3D blu ray discs. Well, come to find out the hard way, it does not. Returning ASAP to Samsung. Please update your website with accurate information!

This is a great starter set top box. Install and setup were fast and easy. Connected to Wi-Fi and had Beethoveen playing on a concert app quickly. Happy with this gift from the wife.

Blu Ray Died after 5 minutes of playing

I had to return the BluRay Player as it died after 5 minutes of playing. I was setting up the Netflix account and then poof, froze up and stopped working. I was so excited about the features but disappointed when I couldn't get it to work. I had to return it. Still waiting on my refund..... Been a few weeks. I returned the item immediately.
I didn't realize all the great features for the price.
