Worth the Purchase

Comments about AudioQuest JitterBug USB Data & Power Noise Filter:
I noticed a difference in detail to the music immediately. You can't go wrong with a Jitterbug at this price-point. There may be better units available by other brands but they cost much more from $100-$800. The only thing to be aware of is that different equipment gets different results - the Jitterbug will make a difference - it is just a matter of if you like the difference. I use it 80% of the time on my LCD-3 on the old Mac Pro played through the Schiit Audio equipment - it actually cleared up some of the "dark veil" associated to those headphones, 100% of the time on my B&O H-6 on the new Mac Pro through a GeekOur V2 DAC/AMP - and I actually took it off the old mac pro when playing the music system through my speakers. I just preferred the sound on my Shehinian Obelisks without the Jitterbug (though it was not as detailed the low kids and bass was richer without) - not sure what the Voodoo magic is here - but I don't care.... its under $50 and is worth having.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great product for anyone listening to music on their laptop

Using this with my Audioquest Dragonfly. It's quite difficult to assess if this has dramatically improved the quality of audio since I haven't performed any tests yet.

A small device with a big bang!
from Queen Creek, AZ
I have two of these side by side on my iMac's USB bus, one of them runs into a good DAC and sound system. The improvement with the Jitterbugs was immediately obvious. Better drive and clarity in the mid and low base, very clear perception of instrument location and improved harmony. These are a bargain to beat all bargains.
Abt got them to me in record time.

The best USB power filter for the money!
No better USB power filter for the money!
High upgrade per buck value
The improvement in the sound is obvious to hear but more difficult to express. Noise removal, or additional air are good approximations. For me it removed the listener fatigue I had been experiencing and my Itunes catalog is getting a lot more exercise. As is common from the comments I've seen on the internet, I could not plug my A2+ directly into the jitterbug, but it works fine next door.
Gee, it took two whole days to get halfway across the country and it was free. I guess it was OK.

A Worthwhile Addition
Have a single desktop audio system with JCAT USB card, Totaldac1 USB cable/filter and Uptone Regen leading to a PS Audio Directstream dac. Excellent as it is, the Jitterbug, inserted at the card output, added a little more clarity and staging. For the price, a worthwhile addition.

I want more for Christmas -- for all my USB playback systems

With a high quality playback system, which I have, the improvements in sound quality are quite noticeable. I have two JitterBugs and I am asking for more as Christmas presents.
Delivery was on time and as ordered.

The Jitterbug clearly improved the sound from my digital files. I'm using foobar, a windows laptop and an old high quaility non-oversampling dac.
