Use this kettle several times a day. Quicker to boil a full kettle than wait for water to run hot in kitchen sink.

This is not a safe kettle. It is very temperamental. Will not stop boiling one third of the time, so it has to be watched. I would not buy it again. This is the third item from Cuisinart I have not been happy with. My fault for not returning this item as soon as it showed problem.

This kettle will not burn up, as it cuts off when the water comes to a boil. It is nice looking (I leave it out on the counter because I drink hot tea throughout the day) and I do not know how I got along without it!
