Best tv I have ever owned
This is my 4th HD set. Started with a 34" Panasonic HD tube tv, then a 46" projection TV that seemed like the size of a small car, then a 46" Sony LCD. It took a long time for me finally take the plunge and buy this tv. But the picture on my 14 year old 46" Sony Bravia was starting to fade a little, so I opted for the 55" OLED LG. So I retired the Sony to the bedroom and put the LG OLED in the family room. Pros: Watching movies & tv in a dark room is amazing. Try a Blu-ray of Star Wars the Force Awakens to see what I mean. Or watch an episode of Grimm on NBC (because there are so many dark scenes). 4K UHD videos on YouTube also amazing (don't yet have Netflix or Amazon). All regular broadcast TV is also great. The word is that Oled is not as bright as led. It seems plenty bright to me. Picture is perfect from any viewing angle - no fade at all. Picture was great right out of the box. I did a minor tweaking based on recommended settings I found by googling LG OLED. I did the setup myself. Watched a YouTube video of how to do it. If you are worried about setting it up yourself just let ABT do it for you. Regular Blu-ray looks so good I see no reason (yet) to upgrade to a 4k Blu-ray player. I will wait for more 4k players to hit the market and for the prices to drop.Very minor cons: the dark scenes can be hard to see in a bright room. My family room has 6 large windows facing south and west. Dark scenes are a problem on a bright sunny day. Switching from "dark room" picture mode to "standard" or "vivid" helps a lot. Also: while I like the magic remote for controlling the tv functions I hate it for controlling the Blu-ray and cable. It has play and pause function buttons, but no skip button for going to the next chapter of a movie. You have to go into submenus for that. The cable remote does a better job when accessing favorite channels or when using the DVR.

Shopped Consumer Report rating. Listed as #2 for a 55". Excellent picture resolution compared to others that I shopped.
Delivery and service excellent. Have used Abt on several occasions have never been disappointed. The price is always right.
So far, no complaints
Have had the set less than a month and I am very satisfied with it.
The sales person was very helpful. Answered all of my questions/concerns. I did research sets before I came in. They put the set in my car.

Awesome - everything I wanted
I had a 10 year old Sony Bravia that I loved, but it started to have issues with black lines floating in and out. Spending this much for a TV was not in the cards at first, so I initially bought the entry level Sony 4k which was not good (they don't even sell it anymore). I changed every setting 10 times and couldn't get it to look like a decent TV. The viewing angle was very limited as well. This TV, right out of the box, was gorgeous - with a viewing angle that is basically 180 degrees. It's so weird to be able to see the full picture no matter where I stand! The picture is sharp and the colors are vibrant. I was stunned by how much I loved this TV because I spent 10 years staring at the same Bravia screen - I never thought I could adjust to something new. There was literally no adjustment period. This TV is just amazing. I know it is expensive, but if you love your TV - the investment is worth it. I hate spending money like this, but I couldn't be happier. The one and only adjustment I made was to do was to turn off "TruMotion" because it created the "Soap Opera Effect" which is just something I do not like (it makes motion look odd and sort of artificial). But, considering I had to make 100 adjustments on the Sony 4k (and still hated it) and only had to do 1 on this - it's kind of miraculous. Watching the same shows on this TV is kind of like watching something different because of how perfect the colors are too. I don't even think there is a comparison between this TV and the other offerings at this time. OLED is an amazing technology.
Abt has great people, and I should really thank Giancarlo for his help with me having to switch TVs and schedule delivery when i was out of town. There were two delivery guys, and the one who programmed my master remote (which is a huge pain to do) was awesome - because he also did my sound bar, which has no standard remote code. I don't even think I know how he did it. The guys were very nice and delivered the customer service that Abt is famous for. They took out all the boxes (along with the Sony I disliked and returned) and cleaned up everything. They didn't leave until everything was tested and working perfectly.
Crisp, clear picture. Worth it.

This television was easy to hang since it incredibly light and thin. The remote is almost perfect - there is, headscratchingly, no fast forward or rewind buttons on the remote, so when watching a movie or recorded show, you have to go into a sub menu. The picture is so clear - definitely worth it.
I had to wait a number of weeks to get this television. Once ABT received the television, it was delivered relatively promptly.
