It is a pity that a product of this category is kind of limited in the convention oven features. I am indeed delighted with the induction range. It gives me the cooking speed and energy savings that I expect from the induction and the easiness to clean and maintain that I expect from glass ceramic ranges. In my opinion, for a product of this range, there is room for improvement in the oven features: - The convection baking temperature is preset to a fixed 350 degrees, which may be perfect to bake beef, but it is too low for other dishes. I cook a lot of fish and some bakery, and I am used to be able to adjust the temperature to each dish requirements. - There is a certain flexibility to adjust the temperature in the form of an offset up or down, typically to correct the tolerance of the actual temperature. First, it is very limited, and still the temperature is low for some of my recipes. Second, you have to readjust this offset for every dish if you need a specific temperature for each. - The menu to control this adjustment as any of the other advanced features is complex and every time you must consult the manual (that you have to download from the internet through a complicated sequence of links). I am a technology geek, so I do not mind navigating the manual, but thre is no way my wife will ever learn anything which is not one touch on the control panel. In the times of usability, this menu is far from state of the art. - Finally, I loved that you can control your oven over the internet using your smartphone. Well, this should be simple just pairing it to your home router and downloading an application, but it requires to buy a control radio that you wire to your router. This makes me think that instead of suing bluetooth or WiFi which are standard with your existing devices, the machine uses some kind of WPAN like Zigbee or Z-Wave. Those technologies are low range radio protocols widely used in home automation for battery powered devices which have low energy consumption ofr a long battery life, but it makes no sense in a power plugged oven, where power is not an issue and the difference in cost of the technology is $2-5, absolutely negigible over the product price. End result, I do not have a connected oven yet. The burden to add more devices, cables, and power supplies in my living room is too upsetting.

We bought this stove because induction is advertised as safer for children and that the stove won't get hot-only the pot. Simply not true. We also liked the idea of using a griddle pan on the sync'd burners and getting rid of our electric griddle. No such luck! The space under the pot gets as hot as a conventional glass top electric stove. You can't wipe it with a sponge without steam shooting up. As for cooking/baking, cupcakes turned out well; eggs turned out well. Stove does have an audible hum at medium heat and an annoying hum on high heat, which is pretty much only used for boiling water. I have a magnetic wok pan which the stove won't recognize. (Maybe the base is too small? The smallest burner is too close to back of stove to accommodate wok pan!). Griddle feature is useless. I simply cannot find a griddle pan that will work with induction cooking! Have the question posted here but even GE cannot answer! Also, if you need to quickly wipe frying pan between batches of pancakes, for example, stove turns off after a short time so you have to turn it back on again. My husband and I have had the stove for 9 days now and are considering returning it. We just don't see a benefit that outweighs the added cost of this stove and the annoyance of not being able to find appropriate pans. Unfortunately we've already invested in all new pots and pans. Also, contrary to one of the other questions posted, this stove does not come with a meat thermometer. It also doesn't come with a full owner's manual like one would expect, merely an 8 page quick guide. So far, a disappointment.

I have wanted an induction cook top stove for a long time. Finally got it and I LOVE IT!!!! Cooks so fast and easy to clean.

We had it for 3 months. So far, we love it. My only issue is the cheap seats to store pans. It doesn't open and close smoothly. It is not the same quality as the rest of the stove.

I love the induction cooktop because it cooks so fast, as fast or faster than gas, it cools down as soon as the pan is removed from the burner, and the controls are on the back which is a huge safety factor with children.

Had my Induction range installed six weeks ago and I am very pleased with the way it cooks like gas but is safer than a normal glass top range. It heats extremely fast and cools down very quickly and the temperature heat range is easy to maintain.
