If you've got an older, working second refrigerator or freezer parked out in your garage keeping your soda pop or ice cream cold - it's probably costing you more money than you think. Did you know that it could use up to five times more electricity than a newer model, consuming nearly $150 in energy each year?

To qualify for ComEd's incentive, you must meet all of these requirements:

• *Be a ComEd electric customer.
• Your old refrigerator or freezer must be empty, defrosted and working at the time of pick-up.
• Your old refrigerator or freezer must be 10-30 interior cubic feet in size.
  
• Units must be accessible with a clear path for removal by contractor.
  

Follow these 5 easy steps:

1. Register at time of purchase to have your old appliance removed FREE of charge at the same time your new appliance is delivered.
   
2. Your sales associate will write your name and confirmation number on a sticker.
   
3. Affix this sticker to the side of the refrigerator/freezer on the top right hand corner (DO NOT put it on the door).
   
4. Sticker must be in place at time of delivery to receive the ComEd rebate. You may also call 1-888-806-2273 to schedule an appointment.
   
5. Your incentive check will arrive via mail within 4– 6 weeks.
