Then easily turn the crown to jump the date correctly into position, eliminating the need to circle the dial with the hour hand.   While our tritium gas technology stands out as unique in watchmaking, it stands out even more in darkness thanks to its extraordinary glow. This one-two punch of distinction empowers exploration in the darkest environments – and at any altitude. And because our luminosity shines automatically, you never have to charge it. The revolutionary tubes are integrated into each applied hour marker on the dial, as well as the local hour hand, the minute hand and the GMT hand. Glowing in harmony with the ceramic bezel’s Super-LumiNova coating, three time zones can be easily read in total darkness.
• A GMT that travels with you.
  Patented quick-set push buttons: The Pilot GMT is a true GMT timepiece, jumping the local 12-hour hand in one-hour increments without affecting all other hands. But instead of using the crown, simply push our quick-set button at 8 o’clock to jump the local time backward and the quick-set button at 10 o’clock to jump the local time forward. The triangular-tipped GMT hand remains unchanged and indicates your home or reference time. With a secure screw lock, the two push buttons are safeguarded against unintentional manipulation.
• Two quick-jump functions. One technological leap foward.
  Due to its technical complexity, a true GMT module is the cream of the crop of the watchmaking complications, achieved only by a few watchmakers. Among them, BALL Watch Company.
  
  • Quick-jump date function: In addition to the convenience of the quick-set push buttons, the traditional crown at 3 o’clock lets you easily change the date of the local time zone. Simply extend and turn the crown to jump the date. By removing the need to circle the dial with the local 12-hour hand, we’ve added even more convenience for travelers. Furthermore, the date will automatically be advanced when the local 12-hour hand is moved pass midnight with the quick-set push buttons. Thus, manually adjusting the date using the crown is only necessary in months with less than 31 days or when the local 12-hour is moved backwards.
• Ceramic: High-tech durability meets smart utility.
  The bi-directional rotating bezel and its ceramic insert features 24 markings for tracking a third time zone, along with a striking chocolate-black motif that signifies daytime hours and nighttime hours. Virtually scratchproof, the ceramic can withstand daily knocks and the harshest conditions, while its resistance to ultra-violet rays ensures long-lasting color. However, manufacturing colored ceramic is no easy feat. The brighter the color, the more difficult it is to stabilize the ceramic during the sintering process, in which the material will be heated at temperatures as high as 1,600 degree Celsius.

  The compact titanium case measures 40mm in diameter with a thickness of 14mm. It offers a comfortably lightweight wearing experience, along with high-grade strength, superb corrosion-resistance and robust water resistance to 300 meters. The automatic movement has been validated by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) and it is protected by our patented Amortiser® anti-shock system that absorbs harsh impact.
