With LTE activated, you're connected to your dash cam 24/7. You can monitor your vehicle with remote live view, receive alerts when motion or impacts are detected, check current and event map locations, utilize Hotspot functionality, and more!
In addition to its remarkable LTE capabilities, this dash cam boasts an enhanced 4K camera and CPU, paired with a 1080p Rear-View camera that enables users to capture high-definition footage and crystal-clear images, even in challenging lighting situations. The DR970X model also incorporates all the premium features one would anticipate from a top-of-the-line dash cam, including parking surveillance mode, effortless app synchronization, built-in Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth.

- BlackVue LTE SIM Card Included
BlackVue SIM Cards are included in North American (NA) models, which enables immediate access to BlackVue Cloud upon unboxing. By inserting the SIM Card into the designated tray and powering on the BlackVue device, you can proceed to follow the instructions outlined in the BlackVue App. In addition, you'll be given a complimentary 1GB trial for the initial month of usage. If you need additional data, you can opt for a 1GB, 3GB, or 5GB plan, and make monthly payments. There is no obligation to continue, and you may cancel at any time. - Upgraded 4K Quality
At the heart of the DR970X series' upgrades is a state-of-the-art SigmaStar CPU and ISP, which have been purpose-built from scratch. Thanks to this advanced technology, the camera can now capture ultra-sharp 4K footage that preserves crucial details like license plates and street signs. Additionally, the camera's 8-megapixel CMOS sensor ensures that even in low-light conditions, every detail is captured with exceptional clarity. - Mobile Hotspot Functionality
Your DR970X-2CH-LTE has the capability of functioning as a Wi-Fi router for your vehicle, providing internet access for up to five devices simultaneously. With this feature, you and your passengers can conveniently use your BlackVue's internet to connect laptops, portable game consoles, tablets, or mobile devices, and enjoy uninterrupted browsing while on the go. - Swappable Secondary Cameras
Similar to the DR750X and DR900X series, the DR970X-2CH dash cam provides you with the flexibility to choose between a rear-facing or interior-facing camera. The DR970X series is designed with an additional input port for a secondary camera. This allows you to store your secondary camera and use the DR970X front-only dash cam or switch to the secondary camera when desired. - GPS, Wi-Fi and Mobile Hotspot

While reviewing the footage, you can track the location of your vehicle on a map, and the video can also display your speed as an overlay. If you prefer not to have the speed displayed, you can hide it through the settings. - Wi-Fi

Moreover, Wi-Fi connectivity allows the camera to connect to the BlackVue Cloud via any mobile or home Wi-Fi hotspot or router. This connection grants easy access to files and settings. - Seamless Pairing
With Seamless Pairing, configuring your dashcam is effortless. Simply power on the device and connect it seamlessly through the BlackVue app. By following the straightforward instructions, you can access the dashcam's settings and files or connect to the Cloud. Seamless Pairing streamlines the process and simplifies navigation, whether you need to browse or connect.

- 3 Native Parking Surveillance Modes
The built-in accelerometer (G-sensor) in the DR970X can detect abrupt changes in speed or impacts while driving. Similarly, when parked, it can detect any visible movements around your vehicle, and these incidents are automatically labeled and saved. If a cloud connection is established, you can receive alerts and access the clips from both your computer and mobile device.
By using the included hardwiring kit or the optional B-130X battery pack, you can hardwire the DR970X to your vehicle's fuse panel for Parking Surveillance Mode. When the ignition is turned off, the DR970X will switch to Parking Mode automatically. There are three variations of Parking Mode available:- Motion Detection
Triggered when the sensor detects movement (marked “P” in the file list). - Impact Detection
Detected by the accelerometer/G-sensor (marked “E” in the file list) - Time Lapse Mode
Records continuously at 1FPS. 1-minute Time lapse Parking Mode video = 30 minutes real time coverage. Impacts initiate a buffered Event video.
