  • The Bosch Sensotronic Plus™ package optimizes the wash process at every stage of the cycle. And you don't have to worry about the correct water level or unbalanced loads. These machines virtually operate at the touch of a button.
    • Load Sensor - The Load Sensor adjusts the water level according to the actual load size - so you save water. At predefined points during the initial fill stage the unit will determine if it needs more water via a pressure switch. This is due to the absorption of the laundry and the size of the load.
      
    • Digital Temperature Sensor - The digitally controlled Temperature Sensor is constantly monitoring the water temperature. It controls the internal heating element guaranteeing the precise water temperature throughout the entire cycle.
      
    • Suds Sensor - The Suds Sensor assesses the degree of suds in the drum. In the event of excessive suds it automatically adds an additional 2 rinses to remove any remaining detergent from the load.
      
    • Unbalance Sensor - If there is an unbalanced load, the Unbalance Sensor will interrupt the spin cycle. Then, a reverse tumble action automatically redistributes the load before spinning continues. During the final spinning of the cycle, the unit monitors the positioning and balance of the load. If the load is out of balance the unit will stop and adjust the load up to 15 times or can reduce the spin speed to finish the cycle. This is accomplished via the motor synchronization system.

• Three Tier Fill System: The exclusive Bosch Three Tier Fill System injects water and detergent from three different levels (bottom, top, and back) to penetrate all parts of the load simultaneously for a thorough wash.
  • Tier 1: Bottom The main portion of the wash water enters the drum from the bottom. This is the conventional fill found in most clothes washers (water rises from the bottom of the drum to surround the laundry).
  • Tier 2: Top Part of the incoming water enters the drum from the top of the door from where it wets the center part of the wash load.
  • Tier 3: Back Only Bosch washers feature 333 holes in the back of the drum to continuously provide the wash load with additional water from the back.

• Power Wash Option: If garments have multiple types of stains or very ground in ones - Power Wash Option is the answer. Different stains require different combinations of temperature and detergent enzymes. The cycle starts out with cold water and gradually increases the temperature ensuring that the all of the various enzymes of the detergent are activated. Your clothes will look their best.
  • Phase 1: Cold-95oF - Necessary to remove certain stains like blood. Prepares the wash load for "Phase 2" by swelling fabric.
  • Phase 2: 95oF - 125oF - "Phase 2" activates the various types of enzymes which are part of the detergent. Each enzyme cleans a different part of the stain.
  • Phase 3: 125oF - 161oF - Certain stains (example is grease) need higher temperatures in order to get completely removed from the fabric.
