The Component Video Wall Plate (CVWP) Kit extends Hi-definition and standard definition component video wire runs up to 500 feet over standard Cat-5 cable. The CVWP Kit is ideal for component video distribution from an ELAN System 12 to zones equipped with Hi-definition TV monitors. The CVWP can also serve as the method of distributing local (in-zone) component video sources such as DVD players and satellite receivers back to the head-end for whole house distribution through an S12 or other video matrix switcher. Component video outputs from either a video source (DVD player, Satellite receiver) or the component video outputs of the S12 are connected to the "Send" wall plate. Component video inputs of a TV or the component video inputs of the S12 connect to the "Receive" wall plate. The CVWP Kit also includes digital coax connectors at both wall plates for distribution of corresponding digital audio over RG6 coax cable.

  DIP Switches on the Receive Plate (TV) provide proper Contrast and Gain settings for variable lengths of Cat-5 cable , up to 500 feet. See the DIP Switch Setting Table for proper settings versus length. Note: both Dip Switches must be set independently for the same cable length
• PWR1 Power Supply
  ELAN’s PWR1 Power Supply (included) plugs in to the front of the CVWP Source Plate providing the 16VDC needed to extend the video signal up to 500 feet away
