Google T3032US Nest Brass 3rd Gen. Learning Smart Thermostat

The Google Nest Learning Thermostat programs itself to help save energy. You can control it from anywhere with the Google Nest app. With seven different ring colors, it fits in with any home. And it works with the Google Nest Temperature Sensor to give you the right temperature, right where you want it (sold separately).

Key Features

  • Farsight
When Google Nest spots you across the room, it lights up beautifully to show you the time, temperature or weather.
  • Bigger, sharper display
The screen is 40% larger. And everything you see is brighter and crisper.
  • Ring
Turn the ring to adjust the temperature up or down. The thin, sleek ring now comes in stainless steel, white, black and copper.
  • Time-to-Temperature
The Google Nest Thermostat learns how long your home takes to heat up and cool down. So you know cranking up the heat to 80° won’t warm up the house any faster.
  • Google Nest Leaf
Look for the Leaf every time you adjust the temperature – it tells you that you’re saving energy. Google Nest will count up all your Leafs and let you know how many you collect each month in your Home Report.
  • Quick View
Press the display and turn the ring. You’ll see a summary of what your thermostat is up to and you can reach Settings, Energy History, or your schedule.
  • Weather
Google Nest tracks the weather so it can automatically adjust to help you stay comfortable or save energy.
  • It’s more accurate with more sensors.
It learns about your home. Ten temperature sensors track the temperature in your home and how quickly it changes.
It’s not too bright at night or too dim during the day. Ambient light sensors adjust how the screen lights up.
It looks to see if anyone’s home. The activity sensors have a 150° wide-angle view.
Is your home too muggy? A humidity sensor shows you indoor humidity so Google Nest can manage your whole-home humidifier or dehumidifier.
  • The redesigned back plate makes installation even simpler.
    • It shows you when it’s straight.
With a built-in bubble level, you don’t have to figure out how to keep a round thermostat straight on the wall.
    • It’s easy to connect.
Just take the wires out of your old thermostat and put them in this one. Push connectors make it easy. They automatically make sure everything’s working. Once Google Nest knows your wiring, it can turn on features specific to your system.
  • Explore the Google Nest app.
With the Google Nest app, your thermostat lives on your wall and in your pocket. Once you connect your thermostat to Wi-Fi, you can control it from anywhere. Adjust the temperature from the app, and the Google Nest Thermostat adjusts quickly back at home.
    • Home screen: This is where you see every Google Nest product in your home. Just tap on the Google Nest Thermostat to adjust the temperature. You can control up to 20 thermostats in one home and they all work together.
    • Schedule: You never have to program a schedule. Because the Google Nest Thermostat learns what you like and programs itself. You can always adjust it manually.
    • Eco Temperatures: When you leave the house, the Google Nest Thermostat will automatically set itself to an Eco Temp to save energy. You can also manually turn on Eco Temps when you’re home or away.
    • Advanced Fan Control: Keep your home from getting stuffy by scheduling the fan to turn on for a few minutes every hour or at the same time every day.
    • Family Accounts: Now your whole family can use the Google Nest app to control your Google Nest Thermostat. You can each have your own Google Nest Account so you don’t have to share a login. And Home/Away Assist can even use the location of your family’s phones to turn your Google Nest Thermostat down when the house is empty.
  • Google Nest looks out for you.
    • Safety alerts
What if it’s so cold that your furnace can’t keep up? What if your AC breaks? Google Nest can send you an alert if your home is getting too hot or too cold.
    • Furnace Heads-Up
If your furnace is acting up, Google Nest can let you know so you can catch problems before they take down your whole system. Or hike up your energy bill.
    • Filter Reminders
Forced air systems start wasting energy when filters are clogged, so Google Nest reminds you to change them regularly. Google Nest keeps track of how many hours your system runs so you get accurate alerts.
  • Google Nest Sense. The brains behind the scenes.
With Google Nest Sense, the Google Nest Thermostat learns about your house. Like how long it takes to warm up, how drafty it is, and what the weather’s like. It also learns about your heating or cooling system and how to make it even more efficient. So while you turn up the thermostat or turn it down, Google Nest Sense algorithms are figuring out a thousand things in the background. And redefining what a thermostat can be.
    • Airwave
With Airwave, your AC takes a break and the fan takes over. It spreads the cool air already in your system through your home. And you save energy.
    • Sunblock
Sunblock notices when Google Nest is heating up in direct sunlight and will automatically adjust so it still reads and sets the right temperature.
    • Cool to Dry
Keep your home healthy and beautiful. With Cool to Dry, the AC kicks in to make the air a little less humid. Especially when you’re away.
    • Early On
Want it to be 68° at 7am? Early-On will figure out when to turn up the heat so you’ll wake up to a perfectly warm house.
    • True Radiant
If you have a radiant system, True Radiant keeps the heat at a steady, even temperature without overshooting.
    • Heat Pump Balance
If you have a heat pump, Google Nest will make sure it keeps up with the cold. Or it will give it a boost with AUX heat to keep you cozy.
  • We’re not the only ones who want you to save.
We partner with energy providers to spread savings around. With their help, you can get a rebate on your Google Nest Thermostat. And even more rewards for savings throughout the year.
    • Rebates
Some energy companies send you a $249 Google Nest Thermostat at no cost when you sign up for certain plans. Others give you an instant $100 rebate. And many offer traditional mail‑in rebates.
    • Seasonal Savings
As the weather changes, the Google Nest Thermostat can help you save by making small adjustments to the temperature in your schedule.
    • Rush Hour Rewards
The Google Nest Thermostat can help you save energy during peak hours. And your energy company will pay you for it.
    • Time of Savings
When energy is most expensive, your Google Nest Thermostat slightly tweaks the temperature and still keeps you comfy.

Features

Here to help you save.

Change the temperature to save energy and you’ll be rewarded with a Leaf. The Leaf learns how to help you save, so it appears at different temperatures for different families.
  • Save at home and away.
The Nest Learning Thermostat can use sensors and your phone’s location to check if you’ve left, then sets itself to an Eco Temperature to save energy.

Footnotes:

  • 1 Alerts can notify you of a potential issue with an eligible HVAC system. They’re meant to provide helpful information, not an endorsement, representation, or warranty of any kind about the health of your HVAC system. Alerts aren’t intended to replace a diagnosis by a qualified HVAC professional.
  • 2 Pro assistance is only available in eligible areas and is provided by Handy, an independent third-party platform that connects individuals to home services, including heating and cooling maintenance services.
  • 3 Google does not perform your Pro installation and has no responsibility or liability for the installation. We partner with Handy and OnTech, who are independent of Google. Handy is a platform for home services that connects individuals to professional installation partners, including OnTech, who will install your Google Nest Products. The professional installer connected to you is not an employee, subcontractor, or agent of Google. For your convenience you can pay for your installation through Google Store, but Google accepts the payment on behalf of Handy, whose network of licensed installers perform the installation.
  • 4 These energy savings are calculated based on the typical percentage of heating and cooling savings found in real-world studies of the Nest thermostats. To calculate the total savings, we apply these savings percentages to the actual heating and cooling hours of all Nest thermostats. Energy savings are an estimate, not a guarantee that any individual user will save energy.
  • 5 Adjustments only shift electricity usage from your heating and cooling. Energy Shift is only available in areas served by major continental US grids, see here g.co/nest/repwr. Prioritize less expensive energy only available for customers on certain electric utility time-of-use rates (check availability).
  • 6 Nest Renew is available in select locations and requires a 3rd generation Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Thermostat E, or the new Nest Thermostat (sold separately), connected to a Google account.
